Laura was seated on the floor beside the door with her back plastered against the wall. Her knees were curled up and her head drooped back and forth from tiredness. Honestly, the bed didn’t look as enticing as it should and she’d felt the urge to stay close to Leonardo who was standing outside, directly across from her.
