A Title of the jinns obsession
Chapter 1 — The Whisper in the Dark (Part 1) The wind carried a strange calm that night — a silence that felt alive. Elina stood by her window, her long hair brushing against her shoulders as the curtains fluttered like ghosts. The moon hung low, bathing the world in silver light, and somewhere in that pale glow, the world around her began to feel unfamiliar. For days now, she had felt it — that unseen gaze following her every step. In the stillness of her room, when even the clock refused to tick, she could feel her heart thudding in her ears, too loud for comfort. It wasn’t fear at first… it was curiosity. Like someone she couldn’t see was standing just behind her, breathing her name with devotion. > “Elina…” Her eyes darted to the corner of the room. Empty. Only the faint shadow of her own figure stared back from the mirror. She pressed her palm to her chest and laughed nervously. “I’m just imagining things.” But when she turned off the light and lay down, the air shifted again — soft, heavy, and intimate. Her bedsheet lifted slightly, as if touched by invisible fingers. And in the darkness, a whisper brushed her ear — deep, low, almost tender. > “You don’t have to be afraid of me.” Elina froze. Her throat went dry. She wanted to scream, but the voice wasn’t frightening — it was heartbreakingly beautiful. It carried sorrow, longing, and love. Her heart pounded harder, and for the first time, she wasn’t sure whether she was terrified… or touched. She whispered back into the silence, “Who are you?” The room trembled. A gust of cold air swept across her skin. The mirror on her dressing table fogged, and slowly, in the mist, words began to form: > I’ve waited for you… for centuries. Elina stumbled back, her pulse racing. “Waited? For me?” she whispered. A faint shimmer of light appeared near the corner of the room — a silhouette forming in the mist, tall and graceful, eyes glowing like amber fire. The temperature dropped. Her breath turned to vapor. > “You don’t remember me,” the voice said again, softer now. “But I have always remembered you.” Her lips trembled. “You’re not real…” He stepped closer, and though his form was made of smoke and darkness, she could feel the warmth of his presence — like fire trapped in shadow. > “Reality is only what you believe in, Elina,” he whispered. “And I… believe in you.” Her knees weakened. The world blurred. The last thing she heard before her vision faded was that same whisper — full of ancient love and endless pain. > “You are mine… and this time, I won’t let you go.” The light flickered, and darkness swallowed everything. Dark (Part 2) Elina woke to the faint light of dawn spilling across her face. For a moment, everything seemed normal — the birds, the distant sound of the city waking up, the soft hum of morning air. But her heartbeat was still uneven, her skin still cold. Her eyes moved toward the mirror. The fog from last night was gone, but a single mark remained — a tiny burn across the glass, in the shape of a hand. Her breath hitched. She stepped closer, fingertips trembling as she traced the faint outline. It was real. “Was it… a dream?” she whispered. But deep inside, she already knew it wasn’t. She touched her neck — the skin there felt warm, as if someone’s breath had lingered long after the night was over. Her reflection looked different. There was a glow in her eyes that she didn’t recognize. Something inside her had changed — something that wasn’t entirely human anymore. The next few days passed in uneasy silence. Lights flickered when she entered a room. The scent of smoke followed her, faint but undeniable. And sometimes, when she stood in front of the mirror, she thought she saw someone standing behind her — tall, shadowed, waiting. She tried to pray. She tried to ignore it. But the moment she closed her eyes, his voice returned — deep, calm, almost broken. > “Elina… do not fear what your soul already knows.” Her tears came without warning. “Who are you? What do you want from me?” > “Not what. Who,” the voice whispered back. “I want you.” That night, she dreamed again — or maybe she didn’t. She found herself standing in a vast desert under a sky full of trembling stars. A man stood far away, his face hidden beneath the darkness, but his eyes burned like molten gold. > “Why me?” she asked, her voice trembling. He stepped forward slowly. “Because your soul once belonged to mine. You have simply… forgotten.” The wind howled around them. The sand shimmered with strange light. As he raised his hand toward her, the air between them pulsed — warm, alive, like a heartbeat shared between two worlds. Elina wanted to move closer, but her feet refused. “If this is love… why does it hurt?” Zaroon’s eyes softened — endless centuries of pain reflected within them. > “Because love that crosses realms must bleed before it blooms.” A tear slipped down her cheek — and when it touched the ground, the vision shattered. Elina woke up screaming. The clock read 3:00 a.m. — the hour when the veil between worlds is thinnest. And outside her window, the wind whispered her name again… lovingly, endlessly. > “Elina…” ---Dark (Part 3) The next night was restless. No prayer, no light, no whisper of hope could silence the echo in Elina’s heart. She left her room, walking through the silent hallway — every step heavier than the last. The air was colder than before. It felt alive. As she reached the living room, the lights flickered again — and for a single heartbeat, she saw it: a shadow standing behind the window, unmoving… watching her. Her breath froze. “Who are you?” she whispered into the stillness. And then — the mirror cracked. A gust of icy wind swept through the house, and the curtains danced like dark spirits. She turned slowly. There he was. Tall. Silent. Dressed in black mist that shimmered like smoke and gold. His eyes — glowing amber — locked onto hers. Not cruel. Not kind. Just eternal. > “You shouldn’t have called me,” his voice was low, smooth as silk and fire. Elina’s heart raced. “I didn’t… I didn’t call anyone!” He stepped closer, the floor whispering under his feet though he never touched it. “You did. Every night your soul cries my name. And I — I can’t resist that sound.” Her knees felt weak. “You’re not real,” she said, trying to convince herself. He smiled, and in that one moment, the temperature dropped to frost. “Then why do you feel me?” Elina stumbled backward, tears forming. “What do you want from me?” Zaroon’s voice softened. “To remember.” “Remember what?” > “That you once loved me — before the heavens forbade it.” Her mind spun — flashes of strange dreams, deserts, and fire. Something deep inside her stirred — a memory that didn’t belong to this life. “I… I’ve seen you before.” Zaroon closed his eyes. Pain crossed his face. “Yes. You were light. And I was shadow. We weren’t meant to meet — yet you crossed the fire to find me.” She shook her head, terrified yet drawn closer. “This isn’t love… this is madness.” He smiled again — sad, gentle, infinite. > “Love is madness, Elina. Especially when it refuses to die.” Suddenly the wind blew stronger. The candles went out. Darkness swallowed the room — except for his eyes, glowing brighter than before. He reached out, his hand almost touching hers — and for the first time, she didn’t move away. The moment their fingers brushed — electricity surged through her veins. Images flashed — ancient temples, cries of angels, fire consuming the sky — and a girl running toward a figure of flame. Elina gasped. Zaroon whispered: > “You were mine once, and the stars burned for us. They still do.” The world went silent. And then — everything turned white.
