Werewolves and vampires had always been sworn enemies, vying for dominance. Their fragile friendship was on the brink of collapse, as the seeds of animosity were sown. As the Alpha Male, my father, Philip, led the werewolves' pack with an iron fist. His thirst for power and control drove him to seek dominance over the vampires as well. The Royal Vampire, Jacob, refused to yield, knowing his kind's strength couldn't match the werewolves'. The tension escalated into a heated debate, with both sides refusing to back down. "The same humans that cast and bind you, they see every innocent bat as a vampire," Philip said. "Let it be my concern, Phillip. The humans are living in fear. Your pack is scaring them. Your people are killing them too." "It is not a time to argue over leadership, we're two different people," Jacob said. "My aim is to fight for peace. I have to leave now. My wife is waiting for me." Jacob left, leaving Philip seething with anger. Philip consulted a witch, who told him to hold on. "The moon goddess is with me," the witch said. "Vampires feel they're everything. They think we're the same." Philip's mother asked him what was wrong. Philip told her about Jacob's refusal to step down. "Forget about it," Philip's mother said. "You are still our leader." "He wants a war, and he'll get one," Philip said. "They must submit to me. I am the Alpha." Days later, Jacob's pregnant wife visited Philip's mother, pleading with her to talk to Philip about the escalating tension. "I am pregnant, and what I am seeing is not good at all," she said. "Please leave my husband and face your pack, Phillip. You will not like the outcome." Philip's mother tried to reason with him, but he was resolute. "You do not come to my house to threaten us, Mrs. Jacob," Philip said. "Then tell your husband to stop trying to rule over us." After she left, Philip wrote a letter to Jacob, asking him to step down or be ready for war. Jacob replied, "I am not forsaking my vampires' brood." Philip was ready to take over, but he didn't realize that he was creating a bridge between their pack and the vampires. The battle between the werewolves and vampires began. Philip, armed with holy water and a torch, went after Jacob. The fight was intense, with both sides suffering heavy losses. Philip transformed into a wolf and attacked Jacob. The fight lasted for many minutes, with Jacob putting up a valiant effort. Philip changed back to his human form and poured holy water on Jacob, causing him severe burns. The holy water wasn't enough; Philip brought out the crucifix, and most of the vampires fled in terror. Philip placed the crucifix on Jacob's forehead and brought out a big light. Jacob was burning to death, but Philip didn't stop. Jacob's wife, Mrs. Silver, pleaded for mercy, but Philip was unforgiving. "Tell them I am their leader," Philip said. "Never," Jacob replied. "I will not allow you to take over." Philip killed Jacob, leaving his pregnant wife a widow. "Do you surrender?" Philip asked Mrs. Silver. "Never, Phillip," she replied. "You'll never take over." Philip spared her life because she was pregnant, but he knew that their war was far from over. After the fight, Philip led the pack back home. Mrs. Silver was rushed into labor, and she gave birth to a baby boy. "It's a boy," the midwife said. Mrs. Silver couldn't hold her baby; she passed out from exhaustion. Ten minutes later, she gained consciousness and asked for her son. "There's a problem, Silver," one of the vampires said. "What is it?"
