Get Him Out

I nodded. I knew Father would be out there, waiting for me. “More contour” A smile formed on my face. I needed my face to look as slim as possible. The maids nodded and did as said. They had to make me as pretty as I wanted to be. “More highlighter” I commanded. They nodded again and did as I wanted. I knew Father would be upset that I was going to be late but I didn’t care. I was going to look my best. “More gel liner” “His Royal Highness would be upset with you, Rex. We need to leave now” I could hear worry in his voice. He was worried the Alpha would be upset with me but I didn’t care. Mother would be worried as well. I knew that. She would not want another fight to happen between Father and me. Well, for the past few weeks, Father and I had been having a lot of issues. Father had been acting super powerful and I wasn’t going to back down either. As soon as I was satisfied with my look, I stepped out of the room. “How do I look?” A grin appeared on my face. “Excellent. Let’s hurry up” He faked a smile. I nodded and walked after him, my hands behind me. After a couple of minutes, we arrived outside but of course, not without my friend looking back occasionally as I was not interested in keeping his pace. The guards had increased as it was like they grew geometrically. A reasonable amount of guards were stationed at every corner. Mother has a worrisome look on her face as she watched the entranceway to see if I was coming. Just as she saw me, She leaped for joy. “Oh Good Lord! Rex! You look amazing, son” Mother rushed to me, examining me from head to toe. She had a satisfactory smile on her face. “Your Father is upset with you, be careful” she whispered In my ear and then, smiled again. Father was upset. Anger was boldly written all over his face. Ray on the other hand had a disappointed look on his face. Perhaps, he hoped he would look more appealing than I did. “Brother! It’s nice to see you!” I faked a smile as I walked closer to him, spreading my arms wide. He faked a smile as well, trying to avoid me hugging me. Well, I didn’t want to hug him either. “You look….. good” He managed to mutter, scanning me from head to toe. “I didn’t hear you” I strained my ear, pretending I didn’t hear him right. He rolled his eyes. “I said you look good” “Stunning, you mean to say? You look good as well” I smiled widely at him. His wife had a smile on her face and so did his little daughter. Unlike him, his wife and daughter liked me so much. “My little angel” I smiled and carried the little girl. Oh, poor child! If only she knew my intentions. I placed a soft kiss on her lips. Father was quiet all along as he looked at me with anger but I tried my possible best to avoid his gaze. “You look amazing” The little girl curled her arms around my neck. I nodded in appreciation and then patted her head just like she had always wanted. “Oh come on in, breakfast is set” Mother announced as she knew tensions were rising and negativity was growing in the air. “Of course, mother” Ray’s wife picked up their daughter and walked after mother. Father turned as well and left. “I hope your stay would be worth it, dear brother” I crossed my hands behind me, a grin on my face. “And I wish you a very positive result in your ‘search’ for your…” He smiled and raised his brows “your Luna” We both knew we were being sarcastic with each other. I had a different intention for his stay here and I know he never wanted me to find my Luna. We smiled at each other and then went to join the rest of the family. Father sat at the top center of the table. To his right was mother and to his left was the space for me but as expected, Ray ran to sit on it. Mother tried to say a word but I was quick to tell her not to, of course with my facial expression. She understood and stayed mute. Anger on her face. “Welcome, son. How do you like the stew? Your mother specially made it for you and your wife and your little girl” Father smiled. “It’s amazing, mother. You did so well” He smiled at mother. She faked a smile as well as the smile disappeared just immediately after it appeared. She was not impressed. “How has the kingdom been?” He questioned as he sliced some bread. Reyna, his daughter turned to look at me and pushed her food toward me. She wanted me to feed her. A request I could not say no to. Just then, Father turned to look at me. “Seven more days…..” He started slowly. I looked away immediately. “Seven days from now. We would know the fate of this pack” Father smiled. “I am desperately awaiting that day Father" A mischievous smile formed on Ray's face as he stuffed his mouth with some food. I had had enough. I needed to leave as soon as possible as I was already beginning to lose my cool. “Mother..” I stood up with a smile on my face, making everyone look up at me. “I have a lot to attend to. Please excuse me” I bowed. “Oh come on, brother. Let us have breakfast together.” ‘To hell with you I wanted to yell but I didn’t want to breed any form of suspicion so I had to pretend to be fine. “Oh thanks, brother but I have a lot to attend to” I walked out of the dining room quickly and I had to do something quickly. I could tell the expression on his face and I was right as I turned to look at him. A devilish smile was on his face. I knew he was happy to see me in such a mood. A smile formed on my face as well. If only he knew what I had in mind for him. Poor Reyna, she was going to be fatherless so soon. I loved her so much and never wanted her to be hurt but this time, I wouldn’t mind. Ava would be the one to pay for it all. I had to get Ray out of the way. I needed to kill him as soon as possible. Not only would she be without a groom, but she would also be banished for murder. My lips formed into a half smile
