For thousands of years, Astraea has lived among humans, hiding the truth of what she is and trying to forget the kingdom she lost beneath the sea.

Then the dreams begin.

A voice calls to her from somewhere she cannot reach. A man she does not remember waits on the other side of a forgotten past. And as her sister’s wedding brings her back to the Aegean, the magic inside her starts to awaken.

Deep beneath the ocean, Prince Kaerys is haunted by the same impossible connection. He has a future waiting for him, a woman he loves, and a kingdom depending on him—but every dream pulls him closer to a stranger who feels anything but unfamiliar.

As buried memories rise and ancient secrets unravel, Astraea and Kaerys are drawn toward a truth someone went to great lengths to erase.

Atlantis may have fallen.

But the sea never forgot them.

Prologue -Astraea
They call it a myth. A story swallowed by salt and silence. But every time I look at the sea, it feels less like a legend and more like a memory. Not one I lived in. One that somehow lives inside me. Long before kingdoms were drawn on maps and men fought over crowns, there was an island beyond the Pillars of Hercules. Vast. Brilliant. Untouched by time. They called it Atlantis. The sea god Poseidon claimed the island as his own. He raised mountains from the ocean floor, and in their heart he found a mortal woman named Cleito. To protect her, he shaped the land into rings—three of sea and two of earth—surrounding a palace built from ivory, gold, and orichalcum. According to every story ever told, that's where the greatest civilization in history began. Cleito gave Poseidon ten sons. Five pairs of twins. From them came the Seven Kingdoms of Atlantis. Each kingdom watched over a different part of the sea. Each had its own rulers, traditions, and gifts. Among them stood House Thalorien. Descended from Poseidon's eldest son, they were said to carry the purest blessing of the sea god. Their blood answered the ocean as naturally as breathing. They could calm storms, command the currents, and hear the sea in ways no one else could. When the ocean had something to say, the Thaloriens were the ones who listened. The other kingdoms were no less extraordinary. Atlas governed law and diplomacy. Karis shaped the tides and built cities of shimmering glass. Neryion commanded storms. Velan mastered forge and flame. Two more kingdoms disappeared so completely that only fragments of their names survived. Together, they built a civilization unlike anything the world had ever seen. White towers reached toward the clouds. Crystal harbors sparkled beneath the sun. Bridges stretched across rings of land and water, while ships crossed seas no one else dared to sail. For centuries, Atlantis flourished. Then… Something changed. Whether it was pride, ambition, or simply the part of us that was always human, no one really knows anymore. The Atlanteans stopped protecting the world and started trying to rule it. The stories say the gods watched in silence for a long time. Until they didn't. The end came in a single day. The earth split apart. Fire burst from beneath the mountains. The sea rose higher than anyone thought possible. And when the waves finally settled… Atlantis was gone. Some people believe it was destroyed. Others believe it still sleeps beneath the ocean, waiting for the right tide to wake it again. I don't know which story is true. I only know that I've never been able to stand beside the sea without feeling like it was trying to tell me something. Sometimes, when the wind shifts just right, I could swear I hear voices beneath the waves. Soft. Distant. Calling someone. Calling me. People say myths are just stories we tell ourselves. I think they're memories. And memories have a way of finding their way home.
