Poseidon had other ideas he wanted to be there Parton god and not Athena.They had a contest,Athena made a olive tree to sell and use as oil and Poseidon made water to drink and to use for any thing else they need for.The mortals had argument and got super thirsty and they drunk the water it was super salty so they chose the olive tree.
