Lucifer's fall from Heaven is a well-known story in many religions and mythologies. In Christian tradition, Lucifer was one of God's highest angels and was known for his beauty and intelligence. However, he became arrogant and envious of God, and he rebelled against his creator. As a result of his rebellion, Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and became Satan, the great adversary of God. According to the Bible, the fall of Lucifer happened before the creation of humanity in the very beginning of time. Lucifer was originally created to glorify God, but he grew proud and began to desire worship for himself. This proud and rebellious spirit eventually led to his downfall. In some religious traditions, the fall of Lucifer from Heaven is seen as a cautionary tale about the dangers of pride and ambition. It serves as a reminder that even the greatest among us can fall from grace if we lose sight of our true purpose and become too attached to power and prestige. Overall, the story of Lucifer's fall from Heaven is a powerful and enduring myth that has captured the imaginations of people for centuries. It serves as a reminder of the importance of humility and the dangers of unchecked ego, and it continues to be a source of fascination and inspiration for people of many different faiths and beliefs. Lucifer, the fallen angel, is a concept found in various religions and mythologies throughout history. In Christianity, Lucifer is often associated with Satan and is considered a symbol of evil and rebellion against God. Yet, the origins of the story of Lucifer are far more complex and diverse than that. In the Hebrew Bible, the figure of Lucifer, or Helel ben Shahar (the morning star, son of dawn), appears vaguely in the Book of Isaiah. The original context of the passage is obscure, but it appears to describe the downfall of a mighty king who claimed or aspired to be godlike: "How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ But you are brought down to the realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit."(Isaiah 14:12-15) However, the figure of Lucifer became much more prominent in Christian theology. In the New Testament, Jesus referred to Satan as "falling like lightning from heaven" (Luke 10:18). Christianity came to associate the figure of Satan with the angel Lucifer, who was supposedly cast out of heaven for rebelling against God. The story goes that Lucifer, who was once one of the most beautiful and beloved angels, grew proud and ambitious and sought to overthrow God from his throne. As punishment, God expelled Lucifer from heaven, along with a third of the angels who followed him in his rebellion. He became Satan, the embodiment of evil and temptation. The story of Lucifer as the archfiend has been one of the most enduring myths in Christianity and popular culture. The idea of a beautiful, charismatic, and seductive angel who falls from grace has captivated people's imagination for centuries. It has been interpreted in various ways, from a warning against pride and ambition to a symbol of the human desire for freedom and independence. However, the myth of Lucifer has also been criticized for its simplistic and dogmatic view of good and evil. Some scholars argue that the story of Lucifer is part of a more complex narrative about the nature of God, the meaning of creation, and the role of human beings in the world. Instead of a simple morality tale, the story of Lucifer can be seen as a tragic and moral ambiguity, a story of a conflicted and complex character who experiences both the joys and sorrows of existence. The myth of Lucifer has also influenced many works of art and literature, from Dante's Divine Comedy to Milton's Paradise Lost to Goethe's Faust. In these works, Lucifer is not simply a villain but a complex and fascinating character, who embodies both the light and the dark sides of humanity. He is a symbol of the human potential for greatness and creativity, as well as the human weakness for pride and fallibility. In conclusion, the story of Lucifer, the fallen angel, is a complex and multifaceted myth that has captivated people's imagination for centuries. It has been interpreted in various ways, from a warning against pride and ambition to a symbol of the human desire for freedom and independence. The myth of Lucifer has also been criticized for its simplistic and dogmatic view of good and evil, but it has also influenced many works of art and literature, and has become a powerful symbol of the human condition. However, despite the Mythological stories and the Bible.... Lucifer at the moment is watching Disney's Coco while nursing a glass of wine. It's his day off. He catches his reflection in a nearby mirror, Gorgeous black hair, tousled to perfection.... glass like skin and the deepest golden eyes. He smiles at himself showing a fang and then turns his attention back to the movie. He wouldn't want anything to disturb him on his day off.... Unless... it's a bunch of pansy angels attacking Hell in search for something... Lucifer might have stolen. As soon as Miguel finds out about his real Papa Hector.... Explosions rock Hell's core. "Not again" As explosions rattle hell's ground, Lucifer continues to watch the ending of one of his favourite movies. He watches but then his laptop suddenly blanks and a single eye comes into focus. "Yes Dad?" Lucifer sighs, looking at the blue eye on the screen. "Take the phone away from your face. I have no intention of checking if you have cataract or not." After a few grunts, the camera zooms out and a fairly handsome man's face appears on the screen. His hair is shoulder length and platinum blonde in colour. His eyes are as blue as the ocean and yet change color when the light changes. As handsome as ever, God doesn't look too happy to have called his child as his face is settled in a frown. "What did you do Luc?" his father sighs. Lucifer smiles and shrugs. "I meant no harm Dad." Lucifer says. "You stole Liam. Or should I say... kidnapped Liam!?" Lucifer laughed. "Oh dad. Liam is fine. He's enjoying Mai Tai's." God rolled his eyes. "I'll return Liam once he finds something about my mate, until then ask your other offsprings to stop using firecrackers. It's disturbing, Fifi." The call went off and the explosions came to a halt. Lucifer was about to get back to his movie until his phone chimed. God: Lucifer, have you been using my shampoo and conditioner again? Uh Oh. Lucifer thought about the response... Lucifer: What? No, why would I do that? God: Because I can see my bottles are half-empty and you're the only one brave enough to pull this prank here. Lucifer: Okay, fine. Maybe I used them once or twice. God: Lucifer, you know those are expensive hair products. I buy them for a reason. Lucifer: Dad, your hair looks amazing. What's the secret? God: It's not just the shampoo and conditioner, Lucifer. It's a combination of good genes and taking care of my hair. Lucifer: Right, right. I'm sure the fact that you're omnipotent and can will your hair to look good has nothing to do with it. God: You know what, Lucifer? Just for that, I'm going to make sure all the shampoo and conditioner in hell turns to water. Lucifer: Hey, come on! I was just joking. God: Well, I'm not. Maybe next time you'll think twice before using my expensive hair products. Lucifer: Alright, alright. I'll buy my own shampoo and conditioner. But can I at least borrow some hair gel? God: *sighs* Sure, Lucifer. Just don't use too much. Lucifer: You know, I am your favourite kid right? God: Hard Chance. Lucifer chuckled at his phone and finally got back to his movie. Afterall. It was his day off.
