[CHAPTER FOUR A friendly fire] [NARRATOR'S POINT OF VIEW] "What? That demon teacher actually lost in terms of authority?" "I heard that a girl beat him." "What?" He cursed. "Who is the chick?" "The odd troublemaker, Sienna Miracle." The two continued to gossip exactly like two girls when one of them knocked a glass off the table. It shattered into pieces and scattered on the beautiful cream colored tiles. The two went silent real quick as if death himself was hovering over them. "S-Sorry, man." The culprit stuttered. [??? POINT OF VIEW] I hummed and ignored them, showing a good mood. "Come on, Alex." An attention seeker perhaps or is this the truth? I can't wait to find out. Behind me was Alex Black, he followed with easygoing steps and snickered as he got past the two. "You ought to clean that up." I heard him say. We continued to walk away and I glimpsed at the girl down below through the windows. She was seated alone on the bench beside the field. [SIENNA'S POINT OF VIEW] Today, we're having our Physical Education. No one wanted to partner up with me plus we were oddly numbered today so I became the pitiful, lone, odd one. I sat dejected here in the bench even Iris was partnered with someone else. I mentally sighed when she said that she long promised Diana that they would be partners. Whoever that girl was, hopefully she'd trip and have a sprain. -Sienna was mentally complaining about everything and didn't saw Diana, the partner of Iris, indeed trip unceremoniously. They quickly head to the clinic.- The field was huge, Lotus Academy really didn't disappoint. I planned to stand up and buy some ice, cold drink when a voice spoke. "A penny for your thoughts, odd girl." A voice directed at me made me look up. I was momentarily blinded by the sun and when it cleared I was looking at a piece of art. A guy in a sports wear stood there. Black hair softly dangling like silk, revealing his black eyes and eyebrows shaped like it was carved. His nose was proudly placed there in prominent way; it was sharp with an imperious flare. His rose colored lips were pursed into a knowing smile; all this merged into one face was quite the impact for me who was used to looking at them. He seemed friendly enough and I was not a rude snob so I played along. "Seems like I got no partner." I curtly said. Guess it's true that looking at this type of art really lifts your spirit up and colors your day. "How 'bout me?" He jokingly asked but I knew he was serious about it. "A fancy proposition." I replied after seeing the female population looking at him like a hawk eyeing prey. He burst into laughter and I was glad no dimples showed in his face because the current look was more than enough. "I like you." My heart skipped a beat at that. Regardless of the meaning, this is my first time speaking with a very fine man also include the misleading words he kept on saying. "What's your name?" I raised a brow at him. "Oh, right. Carvin Klein." He extended his right hand. I broke into a small giggle. This guy was refreshingly funny. "Sienna Miracle, nice to meet you Carvin." I held his hand in a firm handshake and he smiled again causing his eyes to look like a vortex which almost sucked me in. Sienna had no idea that she was in fact, attractive. She had long yellow green hair that ended up in delicate waves, sharp eyebrows that didn't match with her glaring, beautiful gray eyes then a delicate nose and those naturally moist lips made people who look at her have an urge to protect her (though due to her reputation instead of protection, people would want to run away from her). Perhaps this was the reason why Cedrick approached the odd girl known as Sienna Miracle. We opened a few topics and found a lot of common interests. IN other words, we really hit it off. "What's your real name?" "Forever yours. I mean, Cedrick Hughes." He stopped joking when I eyed him with a serious look. "I see." *** "So do you dare to play with fire, Mira?" I look at him confused. We got along so well that we gave each other nicknames. "Hughes means fire." He patiently explained. "I see. No worries Cede. I've always liked to play with fire." I said with a smug reply. I've only talked this much when I was 9 and I think this is already an accomplishment. Cedrick Hughes, my friend after 2 lonely years. He was handsome, witty, unexpectedly smart, sporty and considerate. At first, I thought he could only be an eye candy turns out, I was wrong. Don't tell Cedrick though if he knew, he'd begin to spout about his greatness for a long while and it wasn't a pleasant experience. He seemed much okay compared to Iris who felt way to surreal and forced. The whole class steered clear from my whole existence but Cedrick kept on popping during lunch time so I don't feel out of place at all. Sometimes, we, Iris, Cedrick and I hang out but I think Iris is intimidated hanging out with the infamous me plus the one of the famous hottest guy so most of the times, it's only us two. No matter how fun it was being with Cedrick, we had disagreements that would be the catalyst of the growing c***k in our friendship.
