Eve
It was like the calm before the storm. The night was still and it gave off an eerie feeling. My heart was racing. I took a few steadying breaths as I moved through the trees, ducking behind a row of them just outside of Blood Moon’s borders.
Amitayus was tailing me, being sure to stay back just far enough to remain unseen. I tried to remember my surroundings, but it was all a blur. I glanced around the area I could see. Unfortunately, the map didn’t provide a location for the dungeon.
I continued forward, keeping my ears open for any familiar or unfamiliar sounds.
“Go behind the tree to your left.” I followed Amitayus’s orders. Someone was standing on the edge of the border, right where I had planned to enter. They were statue still, slowly scanning the dark forest.
