CHAPTER 2 HELP

Jess is in the hospital Doctor's room nervously hoping nothing would happen to her Mom. Doctor ran over some tests on Mary . The test results came back and the doctor called her in .

What happened doctor? Is my mom okay? She asked doctor. Hoping he would say that she is completely fine. Umm... Jess please calm down the doctor replied. He took a deep breath and calmed himself what he was about to say. Meanwhile Jess keeps on fidgeting her fingers.

Jess your mom has Brain Tumor the doctor said. When Jess heard that she was shocked she felt like a thunder has passed into her. She was frozen for a second

Doc.. doctor are you sure? Is my maa... mom having bra.. brain tumor? She asked him in complete shock

Yes , dear your mom is having Brain tumor and it's in third stage . We can try our best to cure but we can't assure it will be completely cured the doctor said to her

How much cost it takes to cure doctor?

It will take around 50 thousand dollar dear the doctor said

When she heard the amount she was shocked and felt helpless.

What? 50 thousand dollar Oh god! How am I gonna arrange that much money? Even the insurance can't cover them she said to herself clutching her head in frustration don't know what to do next

The Doctor explained the situation and the medical treatments to her. She silently listened them all. She didn't even heard half of it. Her mind was only about how she is gonna save her mom from this

After a While she went to her Mom's Room . Her mother is looking through the window thinking about something . Mary didn't even noticed that Jess is in her room until Jess cleared her throat

Ma? She called her mother. Mary turned to see that Jess is standing there with the worried look.

Jess sat beside her mother.

Don't worry Ma I will save you no matter what happens

No dear you should focus on your life you should stop worrying about me . I have lived my life its your turn to live Mary said to her daughter

No ma . Don't say that. How can I just leave you? I will do anything to save you ma so please don't say these things. The doctor advised you to be in hospital for couple of months. Don't worry the fees will be covered by Insurance . I request you to stay here and take care of your health and soon I will arrange money ma. She said to her mother

Okay Jess I know you will Take care Mary said to Jess

Jess nodded her head and Left the room with heavy heart

She went to the home and prepare herself about what is gonna happen next in her lives. She got ready and started driving to Bakery that's when she got a call from her Lawyer Regarding her brother's issue she picked up the phone.

Yes Mr. Robinson ? What did he say? Jess asked

Well Jess he chose to live on his own he got a decent job which will be enough to look over his expenses also he got a scholarship for his college so we don't need to worry and he is moving to another town the lawyer said

Jess took a deep breath and started speaking again .

Okay that's good to know . I hope he can look after himself . Anyways Thank you so much she said and ended the call.

She felt somewhat relieved after hearing his brother decision . She finally arrived the bakery .

She opened them and started working almost half of the day she was thinking how she is gonna save her mother .

The sales also good that day, whenever the sales is good her face would lighten up but not today .

Her staffs asked what's wrong but she didn't tell anything to anyone . She was silent the whole day .

She was so confused about what to do so she started baking some cakes. Usually whenever she is confused she would do baking to clear her mind so she did that today as well to clear her mind .

She silently started doing her work not bothering or talking to anyone since she didn't have any friends she was very much confused her best friend is her mother now Mary is in hospital this made her devastated but somehow she had some hope that everything will be good soon that thing made her to work that day

On the other side Daniel is getting ready to go to office. Annie is sleeping as she is on vacation leave.

Daniel went to Annie room and saw her sleeping on the bed covered in Rug he smiled at how she is sleeping he went upto her

Ann I am going to office... Selena is here don't forget to eat breakfast he whispered into her ear

Ughh... Dann why ae you disturbing my bootiful sleep... did you eat breakfast Ann asked him

I did and today I will get you some cakes and cookies from the same shop that you bought yesterday he said to her

Don't you dare forget them or else I won't talk to you . Oh ! I want some macarons as well . Don't forget Ann warned him

Okay I won't now I will go. Bye. Dan said to her . She said bye and went back to her sleep world.

Dan Stepped out of her room .

He went to his office after 20 minutes of ride. He arrived his office . He was greeted by every staff members he firmly nodded at everyone.

He went to his office and started working for the day.

At lunch time Someone stormed into his office he didn't even notice until the person started shouting

Daniel? The voice interrupted his work . He looked up to find Juliana standing over there with the most disgusting flirting look .

Juliana used to work for Dan few months ago but she tried to seduce him but that didn't happen so he fired her she still tries to get him but he is not giving that much easily.

He looked at her annoyingly he closed his laptop and stood up in anger

He crossed his arm giving her stern looks

Get out Julianna how many times do I have to say . Don't you have shame ? he asked her furiously

Aww baby , I know you love me she said trying to touch him

Understanding her intuition he quickly pushed her

Ahh why did you pushed me? she asked him

Because I said get out he replied to her pointing his fingers at the door

That's when Dan's close friend Bryce came in looking at Juliana with disgust

Ahh when this stupid came ? he asked Dan

How dare you call me stupid Juliana? shouted at him

Enough Juliana I am calling the security now Dan shouted at her

Ugh fine I will leave but don't forget I will never leave you . You are mine only she said to him

We will see that Bryce said to her

She left that room

Finally Dan said and sat on his chair

Dude how are you even dealing with this i***t Bryce asked him

I don't know Bryce but she is crazy all over me we have to put an end card for this Dan said to him

Hmmm.... Bryce and Dan think for a while

Hey I have an idea Bryce said

Why don't you get marry? Bryce said to Dan

Dan give his stern look to Bryce

Hey ! Relax Relax I am just saying why don't we pretend that you are married also you said that media is pressuring about you in your personal life if we say you got married that will Put both media and Julianna silent

That's a good idea but where do we find a girl ? Dan asked him

Don't worry soon we will he said to him

They both talked about this and Dan started working again

It's evening he got out of the office and went to Jess bakery . He ordered cake and some other stuff in the staff suddenly he notice that Jess is standing there looking stressed. He went up to her.

Miss? He called her but she didn't noticed so he touched her shoulder. This made her Jolt . She turned around to see a man who is having black eyes ruffled brown hair with a beard she was stumbled for a second and the she regained her consciousness

Oh ! Sorry sir I didn't notice . I am sorry Jess apologized to Dan

No It's Okay not a problem he replied to her

Umm ... how can I help you sir ?

I have already placed my order don't be tensed . You must be Jess right He asked her

Umm.. yes I am and how do you know that?

Do You know Ann? he asked her

She thought for a while

Oh yeah that cutie came to my shop yesterday she said

Well she is my sister she told about you Dan said warmly

Usually he don't talk like this to any person except Ann but something inside him made him go to talk Jess and seeing her upset somewhat made him sad .

Oh Hi and you are? She asked him curiously

I am Daniel Cooper. He introduced himself

When Jess heard his name she was dread shock for a second not because he is famous youngest CEO but for another reason as well
