Maya Thompson stood at the floor-to-ceiling windows of her penthouse apartment, gazing out at the breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline. She hadn't met Alex yet, but she had heard great things about him from the other neighbors. "Sure, I'd love to come!" she replied, typing out a quick response. Rachel raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Ooh, who's Alex?" Maya shrugged, grinning. "No idea, but I'm about to find out!" The weekend arrived, and Maya found herself getting ready for Alex's housewarming party. She slipped into a little black dress, grabbed a bottle of wine, and headed next door. As she entered Alex's apartment, she was immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
