Jacob drove the car to the city. On the way, he told me how he had met Thomas’ attorney. A few years back Jacob was accused of some forgery work done at the bank. At that time Jacob was just a clerk at the bank. It was he who found out about the fraudulent activities done by the manager at that time. When he was about to report this to the authorities, the cunning manager put all the blame on Jacob and got him arrested. Thomas was the one who came to save him. That’s how Thomas introduced his attorney to Jacob. Jacob had already collected all the pieces of evidence against the manager and the attorney helped him to prove his innocence. After being proved innocent Jacob was welcomed back by the bank and was directly promoted as a manager.
