When I reached down, my parents were seated on the sofa, while Alinda’s mom was standing behind them. She looked really worried. They asked me to take a seat in front of them. Alinda followed me and sat beside me. Everyone looked really tense. We sat silently for someone to speak. Mom, dad and Alinda’s mom talked with their eyes. Finally, mom spoke.
“Hayden and Alinda, we have to tell you something. But before that I have a request. We know both of you and you were never like this before. Hayden, you never reacted to anything before like you behaved an hour back. I know Alice and she had definitely raised Alinda to be a good human being. She wouldn’t have done anything wrong.
