Tuesday morning came, Sienna was getting ready and she heard a knock on the front door. Her mom had already left. She shimmied on a pair of jeans and shouted one minute. She hobbled down the stairs as each bounce jarred her ribs. She finally buttoned her jeans right before she opened the door. Jaden stood in front of her with a big grin on his face.
“How’s your face?” He asked, mischief twinkling in his brown eyes.
“Better, still a little sore.” Sienna replied, touching her lip.
“Well then,” he said, grabbing her hand and pulling her to him. He gave her a chaste kiss. “I couldn’t wait any longer.”
She smiled at him. “Well if you let me grab my stuff, you can ride with me to school.”
“Much better than my plan of walking, but less exciting than skipping.” Jaden said, following her back into the house.
“I’m starting to think the idea of being grounded is alluring to you.” Sienna replied, before running upstairs to get her back pack. She came back down much slower, as the added weight of her back pack on her ribs made the bounce of stairs even more painful.
“I just like to remind everyone I like to live on the edge. I prefer not to be caught, but sometimes my parents need to be reminded I will never listen to them.”
Sienna just shook her head. Jaden helped her the rest of the way down the stairs, and out the door. They walked into school hand in hand. Sienna was not sure how she felt about public displays of affection, but she was becoming pretty sure, she was not fond of them. Luckily, Jaden picked up on that, and avoided kissing her in front of people.
The rest of the week went by very quickly. Another week of school, softball practices, and batting cages, ending in a movie date with Jaden on Friday.
Jaden came home with her after school on Friday to drop her stuff off and grab snacks to sneak into the movie.
“Are you sure you don’t want to just skip the movie and go to your room?” Jaden smirked, knowing he would get a blush out of her.
“Well you did pick the scariest movie ever to go see, so maybe we should.” Sienna replied, Jaden’s jaw dropped. “You know I’m kidding. Let’s go.”
The snacks were hidden safely in Sienna’s purse as they sat down to take their place in the movie theater. To Sienna, the movie was terrifying.
“Are you okay?” Jaden asked, as she hid behind his arm for the fourth or fifth time.
“I think I will have nightmares the rest of forever.” Sienna whispered back, not opening her eyes to the movie.
“We can go if you want.” He replied, trying to pull her out from behind him.
“No, no. I want to stay and see how the rest of the people die at the hands of the serial killer.” She replied sarcastically.
“Come on,” he dragged her out of her seat. They walked out of the theater they were in and down the hall. Jaden was being conspicuously quiet.
“You know the exit is the other way, right?” Sienna asked, looking around lost.
“We aren’t exiting, we are movie hopping.” Jaden whispered.
“What’s movie hopping?”
“Shhh. You are going to get us caught. It is where you buy tickets for one movie, and halfway through hop to a different movie without buying tickets.” Jaden whispered, putting his hand over her mouth to quiet her down.
“I don’t think this is a good idea.” Sienna said meekly.
“Act normal, and live a little for once.” Jaden replied, as he dragged her into a dark theater with the movie already playing. The theater was filled with couples, and Jaden dragged her into the third row of the theater.
“We could have just bought tickets if you wanted to see this movie.” Sienna whispered. Jaden had slid his arm over her shoulders after they sat down.
“Where is the fun in doing the right thing?” he whispered into her ear before kissing her neck.
“Not getting caught, not getting in trouble, do I need to continue?”
“We are not going to get caught or get in trouble. At least not for sneaking into this movie,” he smirked, turning her face to him. His lips connecting with hers sending shivers down her spine. He swiped her lips with his tongue. She pulled back and then gave him another closed mouth kiss.
“Jaden, there are a ton of people in here.” Sienna whispered embarrassed by the intimacy.
“Oh Sienna. None of them are paying attention to us.” He said, placing more kisses on her neck.
“I just don’t think I am the type who makes out in movie theaters!”
“What type are you then?” he replied, nibbling on her eat, making her gasp at how good it felt.
“I think I am more of a behind closed doors type.” Sienna replied, trying to keep her breathing under control.
“Well technically the doors are closed, the lights are out, and it is pretty romantic in here.” Jaden had a hand moving up her thigh.
“You know what I meant.” She said, finally breaking away from him. Granted she had not been trying very hard.
“I will wear you down one of these days.” Jaden teased. Sienna just rolled her eyes.
The two watched the rest of the movie in comfortable silence. The main character was separated from the love of her life by the male lead doing something tragically stupid. Only to end up with her forgiving him and ending up marrying him. If only life was so easy, to know you will end up happy and in love at the end of the day.
They made their way out of the theater. No one even glanced their way. Apparently, they had gotten away with movie hopping. It did not make Sienna any more inclined to try it again. By the time, they had gotten to Sienna’s car, it was already half past nine.
“Where you are you staying tonight?” Sienna asked as she started the car.
Jaden winked at her. “With you.”
“Well you know that is not going to happen.” Sienna replied, turning out of the parking lot.
“Oh, come on, just for like an hour.” He pushed.
“I don’t know.” She said, uncomfortably.
“I promise to keep it PG.” he swore.
“I guess, but you have to let me sleep.” Sienna relented, she had a long weekend of softball ahead of her. But, sleeping with Jaden was some of the best sleep she had ever gotten.
“Yay! I am just going to go have a quick smoke.” Jaden replied, as she pulled up to the townhouse. Jaden kissed her on the cheek, and then hurried off.
Sienna headed inside. She washed her face, got her softball stuff ready for the morning, and changed into a comfy pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. Jaden came in right after she had gotten her sweatpants on.
“I always miss the good stuff.” He said looking saddened.
“Go use mouthwash if you want to come into my bed.” Sienna insisted, the strong smell of cigarettes coming off of him. She shut the lights off and climbed into bed.
A minute passed and then she felt Jaden climb in beside her. “You are so warm.”
“Mmm. Will you be here when I wake up?” Sienna asked.
“I am not sure. I am not actually tired, so I figured I would go hang out with the boys for a while.”
“Okay.” Sienna said. She turned herself to face him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and pulled him to her until their lips met. Jaden’s hands found her waist, and he made sure they were as close as they could be while continuing the kiss.
“You know – I really – like you – right?” Jaden asked in between kisses.
“Mhm.” Sienna replied, his hands were tracing circles on her lower back.
“And you really like me, right?” he pulled back to look into her eyes. Moonlight was filtering in between the blinds enough so they could see each other.
“I really do like you.” She replied as seriously as she could muster. “I am scared by how much I like you.”
“You scare me, too. This feels like the real deal.” Jaden said, smiling at her. He pulled her against him. His kisses were filled with passion and hunger. One of his hands lingered at the waistband of her sweatpants.
“Jaden, it has been a long time for me. I don’t know.” Sienna said, pulling away and grabbing his hand.
“Hey, it’s okay. I just want to make you feel good.” He said, taking her hand in his and pulling it up to his face. Giving her light, lingering kisses on the lips. He slipped his hand back to her waistband and into her pants, making her gasp. His touch sending tingles up her body.
After several minutes passed, Sienna felt her stomach muscles tighten. “Jaden.”
“You are safe with me, it’s okay.” Jaden soothed her worries away.
Waves of pleasure hit Sienna, Jaden giving her sweet kisses.
“Thank you.” Sienna finally said, Jaden chuckled.
“You don’t have to thank me. I like you and I want to make you feel good.” Jaden replied, kissing he forehead.
“Let me return the favor,” she said, turning towards him.
“It’s okay. You need sleep.” Jaden rebutted.
“It’s only fair.” Sienna argued, trying to get at his waistband.
“Not tonight.” He said, ending the conversation by wrapping his arms around her and snuggling up to her.
