Rowan honestly didn’t want to budge from the chair. He didn’t want to let Seraphine waking up to no one. Especially when her shadows still clung to him.
But Viscountess of Perrone entered Seraphine’s room in the morning and kept beckoning him to come with her.
Eliza could be stubborn. So, Rowan finally sighed and told the shadows that he would be back.
Unfortunately, he followed Eliza into a carriage and they went into Rania’s quarter. Rowan was annoyed but Eliza pleaded with him with her big motherly eyes. So eventually, he instructed the maids to take care of Seraphine when she wakes up. He told the maid to not let Seraphine out of the room until he came back. He wanted to talk to her first.
