The boy was crying in his sleep.  In an instant, Rowan had jumped up and approached the boy. Seraphine, too, got up and neared him. Rowan tried to shake his body to wake, but it only made the boy wail more.  "P– please don't...." Corey said, still with his eyes closed. "Don't do this!" Rowan and Seraphine looked at each other. They knew the boy was having a nightmare.  "Corey," Rowan called, "Wake up, boy." "D– don't do this! Please....," Corey kept talking in his sleep, "It's so dark... so dark... I'm scared...." Rowan shook the boy's body harder. Worry etched on his face. "Corey!" he raised his voice. "Corey!" Yet the boy kept his eyes closed still.  "I can't see..." Corey whimpered, "I can't..." Tch.  Seraphine supposed it was quite annoying, hearing the wailing sound of a boy.
