Levi I watched as Derek sat in the chair that was bolted to the floor of the warehouse Alex and his group had secured for us. It was one that they had deemed a "safe house" and occasionally used for missions stateside. The fluorescent lights flickered, and the air smelled wet and filled with mildew. Dereks arms were tied behind his back to the chair and each ankle was secured with a rope to the legs of the chair. He wasn't going anywhere. He sported a bruise on his jaw and his eye was swollen.
