Levi I stayed hidden several yards behind Derek. He sensed my presence though. It was obvious in the way he kept checking over his shoulder every few steps. Fear poured from him, soaking his scent until it was all I could smell in the air. It brought out a feral lethality in me. I don't think he had ever truly been afraid of anything in his life. Growing up in a prominent family, he was given everything he wanted on a silver platter. Every mistake he ever made was swept under the rug. Every misdeed, every wrong doing, was nothing more than a slap on the wrist. I wondered if he had always been this vile or if something happened that caused him to stray down this path. In the end, it didn't matter. He chose to be this cruel creature, and I was choosing to eliminate him from this world. A
