------Prince's P.O.V------
The sound of glass shattering echoed through the dining room.
"It has been three months since that b***h insulted me and you still can't find her! How can a little girl outwit the strongest soldiers in this f*cking kingdom!!!??" My second brother, Karmen, was screaming his head of at the soldiers.
I sighed and looked at him. " Karmen. Calm down. It's just a girl. Why the hell are you so obsessed over her?"
Karmen seethed. "Why? Why, you ask!? Because that b***h insulted me! She hurt my pride! I'm going to kill her! No, no. First, I'll f*cking torture her!" He laughed, "Yes. It brings me pleasure just imagining that little slut in pain. Seeing it would be beautiful." He gave a sigh a pleasure. "Kei, I'm sure you understand, don't you?"
Karmen really is crazy, I thought, shaking my head. "No actually, I don't. It would make sense if you forgive and forget her. She is not worth your time and brain power."
He whipped his head around and sneered at me. "You're kidding me, right? Then why do you want to see the b***h?" He clenched his fist tightly.
"Because," I replied, "you tend to make decisions out of hate and spite. You can be quite petty and you always overdo the sentences you hand out. I am making sure you don't do that and I shall give her a punishment that is suited for the crime she committed. Torturing and killing someone for insulting you is hardly a fair punishment."
He rolled his eyes. "You may think you sentences are 'fair' but I think you are just to weak to give stronger sentences."
My father, the king, also named Godigu Lyaris, walked in right at that moment. "Actually Karmen, Kei is right. You tend to overdo things a bit. I believe the punishment Kei will give will be fair and just."
My brother and I bowed and then straightened.
"Yes, father. I absolutely agree." Growled Karmen through clenched teeth.
"I will not disappoint, father." I smiled at the both of them. "Well, I shall take my leave now. I will be going out into the city today to catch up on news."
"Don't forget to bring some guards with you for protection, Kei." The king said.
"Of course." I walk out and head to the guard's house. I called three guards. "Othe, Okos, Jennie, I would like for you three to accompany me outside."
"What for, Kei?" Jennie asked.
"The usual." The reason these three guards are allowed to call me "Kei" instead of "Your Highness" is because they are my best friends. I've known them since I was five. My father allows us to be friends because he believes if we have a good relationship, the less likely they would want to backstab me.
Everything was normal in the city today. Just a few minor scuffles and a few thieves. They were solved relatively quickly, no harm done. As we were about to head back to the castle, I looked around. Everything seemed fine. The market was bustling and people were dressed totally crazy, with plumes and feathers all over the place. Totally normal. But I kept getting a weird feeling, like I was being watched. I shook my head, thinking it was just my imagination, and started heading back.
