Luna to Two Clans

Sapphire

        When I woke up, I forgot where I was for a few moments. I stirred suddenly but when I felt Aiden’s arm around me, I calmed down. I turned to look at him and simply smiled, then I remembered everything that happened yesterday. I did enjoy waking up, being cuddled up next to Aiden, it was like a dream come true. I laid back down all the way and just enjoyed the company I was in. It was not too long after that the alarm clock went off to get up and ready for school. Aiden rolled away from me, turned off the alarm clock and rolled back grabbing me and pulling me into him.

        “Good morning beautiful. How did you sleep?”

        “Good morning and it was very peaceful. How about you?”

        “My night was perfect with you here with me.”

        I rolled over and kissed him and when he went to grab me for more I playfully jumped up and ran to the closet to find me some clothes for the day while laughing at him chasing me. When I stopped at the closet to open it, he caught up to me and picked me up spinning us both around. Then he took me back to the bed.

        “Not so fast love. I want more kisses and you were not fast enough. Maybe next time,” he said before chuckling and kissing me a few more times.

        I just smiled and enjoyed the kisses. After about ten kisses I turned away from him and said “We need to get ready for school or we will be late. And we cannot afford detention today we have to head to the Bloodmoon clan afterwards.”

        “You are right. I just cannot get past the fact that I have my mate right here with me, especially knowing that you could have been homeless or in your own room. Let’s go get dressed.”

        He stood up and helped me off the bed. Once we were both dressed, we went down the stairs hand in hand. He led me to the kitchen to grab some breakfast. As soon as we walked in there Scarlet and David looked up at both of us.

        “Good morning,” Scarlet said.

        “Good morning. How did you sleep last night Angel?” David asked.

        “I slept good. So, are we going to the Bloodmoon clan after school today?”

        “I would love to say yes but they asked for us to wait until tomorrow since it will be the weekend. So, we will head that way after school, but we will stay in a hotel and then we will all meet up tomorrow after breakfast. I had wanted to introduce you to our pack, but we will do that on Sunday. I am just not sure how to introduce you now, after your letter from your parents. You are the Alpha of what is left of the Purplemoon clan, but you are also Aiden’s mate which means that unless you turn away from him now you will be the Luna of this pack. How would you like to be introduced?”

        “I am not sure. Can I think about it and get back to you later?”

        “Of course, you can. I will just need to know before Sunday so I can prepare the speech.”

        “Okay. Well we really need to get going to school. Will we have time to pack up clothes for the night by the Bloodmoon clan?”

        “I’m afraid not. I will pick you both up from school and will leave right away.”

        “Do not worry Angel I will pack up overnight things for you,” Scarlet says.

        “Thank you, Scarlet. I will see you after school David. Bye both of you.”

        With that Aiden and I both left his house and headed for school. To say that school would be normal would be an understatement. I went from being the shy kid in the back of the classroom to dating the most popular boy in school. I was just not expecting this much change. We were not even to the school all the way when his classmates were greeting us. None of the kids from my class even tried to look at as. Once he realized that I felt uncomfortable with all the attention and no one my age around his eyes went fogy. I do not know what he told them, but we got some space. People would talk to us but not so many at once and people from my class were talking to both of us as well. I was starting to make friends with the people I spend my day with. One girl in particular stood out to me and I could not figure out why. She had Blue hair and purple eyes. She was five foot tall just like me, and she just looked so depressed. She did not seem to hear his mind link, so I pulled him down a little to ask him something.

        “The girl over there, is she part of your clan too?”

        After looking at her he simply said “No she is not. I do not even know her name either. From what I know though she is a freshman and like you her fifteenth birthday was yesterday. Why what is up?”

        “I do not know but I feel a connection to her. It is like she is family or a clan member. I am going to talk to her. Can she stay with us in the pack house if she needs to honey?”

        “Of course, she can love. I will have my beta take her there after school if she wants to. My beta is a Sophomore, so he will be closer in age to her. It might be easier for her to be around someone closer to her age from the looks of her.”

        “Okay,” I said. Then I kissed him and walked away from him.

        As I walked up to her, I knew that she was scared and shy like I was. You could feel it coming off her.

        “Hello. My name is Angel Purplemoon. What is your name?”

        While looking up to see my face she simply said, “Hello Angle my name is Sapphire Purplemoon.”

        With that I was shocked. We share the same last name. My parents’ letter did not tell me anything about having a sibling but why else would her last name be the same as mine. I looked back at Aiden talking with friends before I spoke next. His eyes gave me the courage I needed to continue.

        “It is nice to meet you Sapphire. I heard that we have the same birthday. We both turned fifteen yesterday. I would love to be your friend if you would like that.”

        “It is nice to meet you too Angel and I would love to be your friend. I have not really had anyone and after yesterday now I really have no one. When I shifted in the middle of the night my parents kicked me out right away. All they said was the school would take care of me because they no longer can. I do not even have clothes. They made leave while in wolf form. I did not come to school yesterday due to not having any clothes once I was human again. I snuck into their house last night to grab this pair just so I could come back here. I made a tent of sticks last night just so I could sleep.”

        “Well if you would like we have a bedroom in our pack house that you can have to call home. I will also take you out to buy some clothes.”

        “I would appreciate that, but can I ask why are you doing this for me?”

        “For one I was homeless after yesterday as well, and at the time I did not know why but now I do. For two this clan took me in so I would not be on the streets and because I am the future alphas mate. For three we have the same last name and birthday which only points to us either being twins or cousins. For the last reason I am the Luna of the remaining Purplemoon clan werewolves, and I can tell that you belong to my pack.”

        While I waited for a response I wondered if I could do that whole mind link thing with my mate. Much to my surprise I heard him say ‘Angel how are you doing this?’

        ‘I am not sure I was simply curious if it would work since we are mates. Is there a way we can ditch school to help her out and not get into trouble?’

        ‘Let me ask my father. Do we know who she is?’

        ‘Her name is Sapphire Purplemoon. I can tell she belongs to my clan, but I am not sure if we might be twin sisters or cousins for us to have the same last name. She has no clothes and no home. I want to take her shopping and get her settled in before we leave for the night.’

        ‘I will ask my dad then we will come over there.’

        ‘We? Who are you bringing with you?’

        ‘My beta. Usually if my dad lets me skip school, he has him tag along so we play it off as training to lead the pack.’

        ‘Okay. Well then I will see you soon.’

        I came back from my mind linking at just the right time. She was just starting to reply to me.

        “I am glad that I came to school today to find you then. I would love a place to stay and shower.”

        As I was fixing to reply to her, I saw what looked like fear go across her face and then I felt arms wrap around my waist. I knew my mate was there with me.

        “Sapphire, this is my mate and future alpha of the Blackstar Clan, Aiden and his beta, who I have yet to be introduced to.”

        Everyone laughed at that and then Aiden finished making the introductions.

        “Angel, Sapphire this is my beta, Ryan.”

        Ryan had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and was five foot five inches tall. He was muscular like Aiden, but he wore glasses and clothes that made him look like a nerd.

        “Well it is nice to meet you Aiden and Ryan. Should we be getting to class though, the bell just rang.”

        “Normally yes but we are all excused for the day. We are going shopping to get you some clothes and take you to our pack house for a room.”

        “Can I sleep with Ryan?” We did not know that Sapphire and Ryan had the mating bond, so it shocked us when she asked us. Ryan must have to been able to tell by our shocked expressions.

        “I will explain,” says Ryan, interrupting our thoughts. “When I first saw her once we got here, we both felt the mating bond pull. Thanks to my training with being the beta and resisting her for a year already I have learned how to resist the urge of wanting her in my arms right away. She is my mate, and I will gladly share my room with her. I am quite sure the reason why she held back was fear since she has been alone most her life. I knew of the bond last year since she went to the same school as my baby sister, and I have watched her ever since. I could not approach her until after she shifted because it would have pushed her away from me, and she was not here yesterday. I was sad, but I am glad that I got to see her today.”

        “Okay. We can understand that. So, who is ready to go shopping? I am paying for everything.”

        We all loaded up into Aiden's car and went to the mall to buy Sapphire some clothes. I happened to mind link with Aiden again on the drive over there.

        ‘We need to look into her. I cannot help but feel like we are supposed to be twin sisters.’

        ‘My dad is already doing just that babe, but when he researched you it never showed any siblings. I promise you we will get down to the bottom of it.’

        ‘Okay honey. Why were you so freaked out when I happened to mind link you earlier?’

        ‘Well mates from different packs do not have a mind link until they either mark each other or actually mate and we have not done either yet. So, I honestly do not know how we can talk to each other. Now do not get me wrong, I am fully loving this, but it just confuses me. It also confuses me that when you did it earlier you froze time too. We were the only two not frozen in place. We will talk about it later with dad at the hotel.’

        ‘Oh okay.’

        Once the car stopped at the mall, we all got out. We walked around and went to several different stores. We all ended up buying a thing or two but it was my parents money who bought everything for Sapphire and I even explained that to her when she tried to say she did not have money to buy anything.

        “I am hungry let’s find the food court and eat, then we can go home and get my beautiful mate settled in my room before you two leave for the night.”

        “Leave? Where are you going?”

        “We have to meet with the Bloodmoon clan to find more werewolves from the Purplemoon clan. I got a letter from my parents telling me that it is my job to find them all and keep them safe. I am still not sure how I am going to do it but with Aiden by my side I know I can succeed. Do not worry too much Ryan will take care of you while we are gone. You are safe with us.”

        “I understand that one, and I know he will,” Sapphire said while leaning on Ryan’s shoulder.

        “I have a question for you Sapphire. This is based on me and my wolf, so I am curious. What color is your wolf?”

        “Blue with purple flames down the sides.”

        “Somehow I already knew that answer. That just tells me that like me you will not be able to train your wolf at school. Our wolves are too different to risk being seen outside of the clan. My wolf is purple with blue flames, and she is tall too.”

        “So then what will do when the teachers ask us to change into our wolves?”

        “My dad and I already have that covered. I am not fully sure on his plan yet, but the teachers will not make you change forms.”
