Luna to Two Clans

The Letter

*Angel’s POV*

        Once we were in his room, he showed me where I could unpack my clothes that my parents packed up for me. I had to laugh at the fact that he already had empty room in his dresser, closet, and shower for my things.

        “Why are you laughing babe?”

        “Well I just think that it is cute that you have room for my things, and you did not have to move things around.”

        “I did have to rearrange but I did that after school and after talking to my dad. I did not know when or if you would live with me, but I wanted to have room ready for my mate just in case. I wanted you with me. I have not been able to get you out of my mind all day and that kiss at lunch was so worth stealing. I can still feel it on my lips.”

        “Thank you for thinking about me and for wanting me around. I am glad that I am not spending my night on the streets, like I thought I would be.”

        “I cannot even picture you on the streets. That would tear me apart if I allowed that.”

        “I have a question for you. Your uncle told me about your dad adding me to your pack based on the background check. What do you think will happen?”

        “I am sure everything on you will be fine but if for some reason you are not the only one left from your pack we need to talk to the alpha in charge before you can make the switch or before we can combine packs. If you are the only one left, then there was probably someone who wanted you all gone, and we need to hide you as long as possible to keep you safe.”

        “That scares me a little. No one else has purple hair and I am betting no one’s wolf reflects my hair color too.”

        “Wait, your wolf is purple like your hair?”

        “Yes why? Is there something wrong with that?

        “No babe, nothing is wrong with it, but you will not be able to train your wolf unless it with one of our clan members at school if that is the case. The color of your wolf is beyond unheard of so it would raise a lot of questions. All the students that I know of and a few of the teachers are from my clan but not everyone is, and we do not know why a lot if not all, but you, of your clan died or got killed. We will have to train you here where you are safe.”

        “Well this will prove to be fun. How do I tell the teachers I cannot participate in my training's?”

        “Just leave that to me. I will handle everything, but first I told my dad about your wolf and he wants to see it. We need to head over there, and Saturday he wants to introduce you to our clan as the future Luna, if you approve of it.”

        We stopped talking and went to his dad’s office, while walking over there I saw how beautiful it was here. All the houses are unique. They live in the woods, so you have plenty of trees and wildlife around. There is a river that runs right through the clan housing area that the kids are enjoying playing in. Once we get to pack house it looks like a huge castle. It is even made out rocks like the older castles were. His dad’s office is on the top floor. While walking hand in hand with Aiden a lot of people are watching us trying to figure out what is going on. When we get the office, his dad welcomes us and motions for Aiden to shut the door.

        Once it is shut David speaks up “Angel this is my Luna and Aiden’s mother Scarlet, my Beta Robert, and his wife Sophie. My son tells me that you told him you have a very unique wolf. If you are able to make the switch can we please see her?”

        “I have never tried to have her come out before. What do I need to do?”

        “I am sorry. I forgot that you grew up with humans and were not taught these things. Just picture her and then allow her to come out.”

        “Well that seems simple enough, and it is what Star does to change back to me.”

        After saying that I pictured what Star looked like and then allowed the switch to happen and to my surprise it worked and was painless. Star’s back went to Aiden’s shoulders. She was bigger than most werewolves and it shocked everyone. She was also the same dark purple color and my hair, but she had what looked like blue flames going down her sides. Her eyes were a silver color and almost blended in with the white parts of her eyes.

        Aiden was the first one to speak. “WOW! You are beyond beautiful Star. I do not think I will ever get tired of looking at you.”

        With that being said, she went up to him for him the feel her next to him. He reached out to pet her and realized how soft her fur was. Everyone else still seemed star struck by her appearance, but they did agree with Aiden about Star being beautiful.

        Finally, David said “Well now you are unique to say the least. I knew some of the Purplemoon clan members and none of them looked quite like you. We need to keep you hidden for now though. From what we have on you so far, the vampires attacked and killed your clan because they want all werewolves dead and the Purplemoon clan was the only clan that could ruin it. They did not realize that a few kids survived due to a witch telling the clan what was going to happen and having them hide the kids. You can go a head and switch back. Aiden make sure she is behind the divide and give her some clothes. We will keep her safe and we are working on finding the other children to bring them all together.”

        Once I was back and dressed David said “We will train you from here with what we can. On the plus side the Principal of the school is from this pack so he can make sure you do not have to train with the others when they are doing wolf training. Go get some rest for school tomorrow.”

        Aiden and I left the office and went back to his house. Once there we got ready for bed, but I was thinking about the letter from my birth parents to much for me to sleep. Aiden could tell and he knew that I was afraid to read it as well.

        “I can read it out loud if you would like babe.”

        “You would do that for me?”

        “You are my mate love. I would do anything for you, and I will work till I die to prove that to you. I know we have not been together long, but I can already tell that I love you.”

        “I love you too.”

        “So, are you ready to hear this letter, love?

        “Yes, I am,” I said while handing him the letter.

        He opened it and handed me a bank card that was inside as well as a copy of my birth certificate and other important papers. He then started reading the letter out loud for us both to know what they told me.

                                    “Our dearest daughter.

If you are reading this that means the vampires succeeded in killing us off except for the kids, we hid in the houses of humans. We knew that the vampires could not find you with the humans, due to their smells. There were around 30 kids that managed to be hidden in time. You are not the oldest but due to us you are the Luna of the pack. It is your job to find them all and keep them all safe. You can gather help from the Blackstar clan. We hid you by them just for that reason. They will help you find all the Purplemoon clan kids, and train you on how to lead them properly. All the werewolves were hidden in houses around the Blackstar clan, the Bluemoon clan, the Goldenstar clan, and the Bloodmoon Clan. Some of the kids may already be part of those clans but with a drop or two of you blood they will see who you truly are and will let them join your clan. I know you can do this. You are after all the great granddaughter of the Moon Goddess herself. You will make us all proud when you save the werewolf race from the vampires. We never wanted to leave you, but we wanted you safe and this was the only way to do so. Please do not be too hard on the parents who raised you. They knew that after your official shift the Vampires could find you if you were not around your own kind, and once they knew that you were alive they would have killed you and anyone else who tried to stop them. We have left you our bank card so you will have more than enough money to get by. We have also included your birth certificate, social security card, and the location of all the packs important things, that were hidden as well. We love you Angel Renesmay Purplemoon. Please be careful.”

        We sat in silence for a few moments. I could tell that he was mind linking with someone because his eyes looked foggy and he seemed to not really be here. I cannot believe that I am the leader the Purplemoon clan and related to the Moon Goddess. I guess that based on this letter I can make the call to merge the two clans together and since my mate is fixing to be Alpha it seems like the right choice to do. I will have to figure out what it means to merge them and if it would benefit both clans. I guess I will have to find other clan members first and talk to everyone. With there only being thirty kids that is not big enough to be a full clan so it may end up best to merge.

        “Angel, babe, are you here with me?”

        “Yeah I am here. Sorry I was lost in thought. My parents letter hit me differently than I thought it would.”

        “Would you like to talk about it?”

        “I do not know, maybe but I am tired and need a shower. Who were you mind linking with right after you read the letter?”

        “My dad I told him what it said. He was pleased that we know how many to look for and where to look. He thinks they found five already but apparently only you will be able to tell if they are Purplemoon clan or not. Dad said that with the whole ‘drops of your blood’ thing it tells everyone who you are and who in that area belongs to you, even the ones who have not shifted yet. He has heard of it before but has never actually seen it happen before. He wants to go to the Bloodmoon clan tomorrow after school where the five are with both of us, if you are up for it.”

        “Yeah that sounds great. The sooner I can figure all of this out the better. I cannot believe I went from being a nobody to the Luna of the Purplemoon clan and great granddaughter of the Moon Goddess herself, and from being single to having my mate all in twenty-four hours.”

        “It is a lot to take in, but you are not doing it alone and you will never be alone again as long as I can help it. We will all help you out.”

        “Thank you. I think I need a shower now.”

        “Okay. I will join you in a few unless you do not want me to.”

        “No, you can join me. It would be nice.”

        I went to take a shower and once I got the water to the temperature that I was comfortable with in came Aiden to join me. I did not even have to look at him to know it was him. I could smell him, and the feeling of excitement went through my body. I could tell that my wolf and my body wanted more than just a shower. I just did not know if I should give in right now or not. I know we are mates and that is what mates do but I was taught to wait until marriage for anything. I am already crossing the line of not doing anything by letting him see me n***d, being in the shower with me, and by sharing his room. I just feel like this is so right, like this is where I belong and doing this with him is so perfect.

        He slowly wrapped his arms around my waist and started kissing my neck. It felt like heaven to be here with him right now. All my worries seemed to melt away. I just leaned into him enjoying the feeling of his arms around me holding me tight.

        “You fit so perfectly in my arms. I wish I could just hold you forever, love.”

        “I can agree there. Being in your arms seems to make everything I found out today seem so little and like I can handle it blindfolded.”

        I then turned around to kiss him like we did earlier at school. I was the one who could not resist it this time. His arms around me just brought back the kiss and I wanted to relive it again.

        After the kiss he grabbed my shampoo and gently washed my hair for me. Once the shampoo was rinsed out, he did the same thing with the conditioner. When I rinsed out the conditioner he slowly and gently washed my body and analyzing every inch of it while did. He did not dare do more without knowing if I would approve or not, even though I could tell he wanted to. It is a natural thing for mates to want each other in everyway the second they realize the bond is there. It takes a lot or strength to resist those urges.

        After we were both washed, dried, and dressed I yawned and simply asked “Can we go to bed now? I am tired.”

        “Of course, we can sweetheart.”

        With that being said we both went to bed to get some sleep before the busy day at school tomorrow and then to the Bloodmoon clan. The clan is not close by, so we must leave right after school in order to make good timing.

        “Goodnight honey. Sweet dreams,” I said.

        “Goodnight my love and they will be of you so they will be the sweetest dreams ever.”

        I never imaged cuddling with anyone, or that it would feel so perfect but when we both laid down on the bed and he wrapped his arms around me I felt complete and I was so comfy that I did not even remember falling asleep. I did remember thinking that life could not possibly get any better than this though.
