Luna to Two Clans

Patrolling the Borders

*Angel’s POV*

        With that we all took off, changed forms, got dressed, went to the office, and fixed the barrier. We did notice that my hair was no longer solid purple and Aiden's was no longer solid brown. On top of our wolf’s fur switching our human hair changed too.

        “I want to patrol the barrier. Please. If some of them are hidden with witch magic, like the last two they might not be able to get in without help.”

        “I do not know how safe it is with your wolf form.” David said.

        “Please I am the only one who can smell them through the witches magic unless Aiden can too.”

        “I smelt them but only up close. You smelt them from across the territory.”

        “See David. I would be the best one out there.”

        “You certainly would but you will not be alone. Chris my head in security and Aiden will be with you. We cannot risk something happening.”

        “Thank you, dad.” I said while hugging him.

        “So, you have decided to call me dad? When is the wedding?” He asked while laughing.

        “Whenever your son proposes.” I said laughing.

        “Let me get Chris in here and explain to him what is going on. He will also explain it the others who do patrols that way if they find some that cannot get through, they can call you.”

        “Okay. Thank you again.”

        “You are quite welcome dear.”

        Five minutes later Chris came into the room still in his wolf form. David mind linked with him for a few moments and then told us to meet Chris outside.

        We went outside and shifted forms. Soon Chris was there with us and we started the patrol.

*Star’s POV*

        We started walking towards the border so we could start the patrol. We were headed towards the north, but I noticed something from the east, so I turned and started to walk away. Chris quickly jumped in front of me and growled at me.

        “Follow me, now!”

        “No, I will not. There is something going on over here and I am going this way.”

        He growled at me even more as if expecting me to obey him.

        “We are not going to the east.”

        “Fine then stay here but I am going.”

        I started to walk away from him, and he rammed into my side trying to stop me from going over there. When I went to attack back, I realized that Aiden had already done so.

        “You will never touch my mate again.” He yelled through the mind link while standing over the top of Chris.

        “Fine but your dad wants me to protect both of you.”

        “Protect us yes, but force us to go your way no. She is out here because she can find people from OUR pack and if she is headed this way it is for a reason. You best stand down and follow her if you know what is best for you.”

        “I know what is best for us all.”

        Before I had a say so David’s wolf came barging in.

        “Star, Daniel go to the east like she wants. There is something going on there. I will deal with Chris. He knew about this and is trying to stop it.”

        “Okay dad.”

        We walked away from him and I looked at Aiden.

        “Daniel? Your name is Daniel as a wolf?”

        “Yes honey. We have not talked much about all the wolves name but like you we all have two names. One when we are in human form and one in wolf form. My dad’s name is Josh when he is in wolf form and Ryan’s wolf is Jeremy.”

        “Oh okay. I understand. I wonder what Sapphire’s wolf’s name is.”

        “We will have to ask her one day.”

        Once we got closer to the boarder, we could hear wolves fighting so we picked up the pace. Once we there I growled and used my luna aura while I did it. All six wolves stopped, sat down, and lowered their heads.

        “What is going on here?” I questioned.

        After a few minutes of no answer I growled again.

        “Answer me!”

        “Chris told us to not let anyone pass and they walked in, so we warned them, but they kept walking, so we attacked.”

        “Chris gave you permission to attack OUR clan?” I questioned.

        “Yes, he did.”

        “David is your alpha not Chris. Why would you listen to him?” I asked.

        “Well he said it was what David wanted.”

        “David is the one who opened up the boarders for our clan. Why would you think he would want them attacked?” I questioned beyond on mad.

        “Well we did not stop to think about that. We just take orders from our higher up, which happens to be Chris. We are sorry Angel.”

        “Her name is Star when she is like this.” Daniel said.

        “Sorry Daniel. It will not happen again.”

        “I am not Luna of this pack yet so I will let David and Scarlet deal with you guys. As for the others make sure they know that if they can cross the boarder to let them in. If they cannot you call for me, so I can determine if they are from my pack or not.”

        I ended the mind link with them and started one with the Purplemoon clan members.

        “Now for you three where do you come from?”

        “We come from a pack across the ocean. Our clan is familiar with the Purplemoon clan and has witches that live with us. They kept us safe and trained us while they could. Once you shifted the witches told everyone that is was time to send us to our luna. There are others back home, but they are way to young to shift yet. The witches said that they could keep them safe until they shift. They still need their parents. I hope you are not mad about it luna.”

        “Of course, I am not mad. I just want them safe. What is the clans name so I can keep in touch with them?”

        “The clans name is the Lockwood clan. Tyler Lockwood is the Alpha right now.”

        “Okay thank you. Well I am Star Purplemoon and my human name is Angel Purplemoon. This is my mate and your alpha Daniel Blackstar his human form is Aiden Blackstar. What are your names?”

        “I am Casey Lockwood, also known as Jase in wolf form. Tyler is my cousin.”

        “I am Bradley Lockwood, also known as Brad in wolf form. Casey in my older brother, and Tyler is my cousin.”

        “I am James Shirly, also known as Jimmy in wolf form. I have a little sister named Ashley that we are quite sure she is part of this clan too, but we will not know until she shifts.”

        “Well it is nice to meet you all. The pack house is directly west from here and someone is already waiting for you. Her name is Scarlet. She will show you to your rooms. I can see that you guys have suitcases with clothes. If you are hungry after you have been shown your room just ask Scarlet. We have plenty of food.”

        “Thank you Star and Daniel.” Casey said.

        You could tell that Casey was the oldest and was told to watch over the others until they got here. He held himself well too. It made think that he might be able to be head of security one day, with the right training. Maybe even a beta if we choose to keep the packs separated out.

        I was about to start walking around the border when David showed up.

        “We have had ten show up from different clans and Chris is locked up for going against me. I have personally made sure that everyone knows they can enter and whatever Chris told them was a lie. Just from how many people have already showed up and how many we must go get we will need a bigger area to house everyone. Our land will not be large enough.”

        “I am wanting to go buy the surrounding land tomorrow, if possible, and put my own protection spell on it. That way the Purplemoon clan will be hidden. I just need help with it. My dad is certain that the Purplemoon clan has enough money for everything I just do not know how to do the protection spell. I also need to go to the location on the map my parents gave me to gather all the important Purplemoon clan things. I know I must go to school too. I have too much to do and too much to think about.”

        “Breath Star. We will get everything taken care of. I promise. Right now, the pack is the biggest issue, so I will deal with the school. There is nothing there that I cannot teach you at home. You, Aiden, Ryan, and Sapphire will all miss school for as long as needed. At eight tomorrow morning we will head to town and deal with buying the land around us. Then we will do the spell and build houses.”

        “I do not know if the money on the card my parents gave me will have those kinds of funds or if there was a different card for clan things.”

        “Star darling, it will cover the cost even if it was not our account. The Moon Goddess has made sure we have an endless supply of money. She takes care of her family and her clan,” my father said walking up behind me.

        “Okay thanks dad. So, then we can go do that first thing in the morning. Thank you for all the help Josh.”

        “I see my son has told you my wolfs name. You are quite welcome Star. Shall we go back to the house to try to sleep since we all have a busy day tomorrow. The patrol knows to get you if there is one that cannot get through.”

        “Okay. Can we do one full walk around first just in case? I just have this weird feeling.”

        “Yes, we can. All four of us will go if your dad wants to join.”

        “I would love to join you all.”

        We started our walk but at the exact same time my dad and I froze. We turned around and looked behind us.

        “Josh, Daniel we need to go this way,” I said.

        “Okay. Lead the way. We will follow.”

        With that we started walking towards the south of the clan territory when we got there, we saw a group of about thirty people. There were adults, teenagers, kids, and babies. One we could tell was a witch, and with the others we could tell were werewolves, some were from the Purplemoon clan while others were not.

*Angel’s POV*

        I switched forms and was standing there n***d at first but somehow clothes magically appeared on me. I simply shrugged and guessed that it was another one of my powers. When they got close enough the witch was first to talk.

        “Hello, Angel. My name is Sharon. As you can tell I am a witch. I help the Scarletmoon clan. We have fifteen members for your clan. The others are the parents. As you can tell some of the members are incredibly young. Their parents want them here with their clan where they will be safe. They have also said that if you agree to it, they would like to become members of your clan so they can always be with their children. May we cross the border?”

        I turned around to look at David and he nodded yes and then walked out to greet them. One little girl rushed up to him and hugged him.

        “Yes, you may. We will take you to the pack house for the night. Tomorrow we will have houses built for everyone.”

        “Well that is partly why I came along with them. I can build houses with my magic in mere seconds. I can help you greatly with all the new members to your clan Angel if you let me. I would also like to stay here to help with anything I can.”

        “Well that will come in handy. I am okay with you staying but while David is teaching me, I need to make sure with him if it is okay with him as well. Let’s get to the pack house for tonight with how late it is and after we get more land for everyone, I will take you up on the housing.”

        ‘Angel one of those men is a Purplemoon clan member. He left to hide his child with her aunt and never came back. I do not know if he was just too late or if he abandoned us,’ my dad said.

        ‘I will talk to him about it later. I do not want to do so in front of everyone else. I could tell he was older, and he may have been right. His sister may have been from that clan.’
