Luna to Two Clans

Dinner with the Clan

        Once we changed clothes, we joined the rest of the clan downstairs. On the way to our seats we greeted everyone we walked past. A few of them we did not talk to earlier, so we had small conversations with them before moving on to the next people.

        I mind linked with Aiden while in between conversations. ‘Thank you for being with me. I do not think I would have the courage to talk to them all without you next to me.’

        ‘You are welcome my love. There is no other place I would rather be.’

        Once we got to our seats David leaned over to me and said, “We really need to work on your mind links. I have only seen one time where you have not frozen everyone, and it was when Star was in control.”

        “Sorry. I do not mean to freeze everyone.”

        “I know you do not mean to do it. That is why we need to work on it.”

        “Okay.”

        Once we were done talking, he moved away from me and then turned to address the whole clan.

        “Welcome everyone to this lovely dinner we are about to have and thank you to those who worked hard to make this dinner possible. Now let us all sit down and enjoy this fine meal.”

        We all had small conversations around the people we were sitting next to. I do not know how but I could hear all the conversations around me and knew what they were all saying even though they were all talking at the same time. A lot of the Blackstar clan was curious as to what our wolves would like, and they were all discussing different possibilities of how they think they will look.

        There was one conversation that I seemed to focus in on more than the others. It seemed to not be coming from the dinner party but from the woods just outside the clan territory. I do not know how I heard it from that distance, but I did.

        ‘So how do we get in?’

        ‘I do not know. We both got kicked out of our territory, remember? I just got kicked out two years before you.’

        ‘I remember. I was just thinking out loud.’

        ‘I understand. I only remember being told that I was not part of that clan and that they would never accept me.’

        ‘I got told the same thing. Except for a warlock who found me right afterwards. He told me where to find you and to come here because they would help our kind.’

        With that I got up and walked away from the dinner. I was not even half done with it and so focused on listening to the conversation that I did not realize that the whole clan went quite when I got up to leave. I heard a few people say, ‘What is going on?’ ‘Where is she going?’ but I continued to walk towards the conversation. It was not until Aiden grabbed my hand that I realized I was not alone. I stopped walking for a few seconds and realized that David, Aiden, Robert, and Ryan were all with me.

        “I am sorry. I just need to do this. I can hear them. They are from my clan.”

        “We know. Somehow when you focused in on the conversation, we heard it too. The girls are staying behind to explain to the clan what happened. Just lead the way Angel.” David said.

        I tuned back into the conversation.

        ‘I wonder if we find the main entrance if someone will realize that we are here.’

        ‘Stop. I can find you just keep talking, please.’ I managed to say to them.

        ‘Who was that?’

        ‘Some female. I do not know.’

        ‘I am Angel Purplemoon. Your clan leader. I could hear you talking. I can only find you if you keep talking and stop moving though.’

        ‘Okay, we will keep talking.’

        With that we got to where we could see the end of the territory where they were.

        “Hello boys. I am Angel Purplemoon. This is my mate Aiden Blackstar. The alpha of this pack David Blackstar. His beta Robert and that is Ryan future beta to this clan.”

        “Hello Angel. I am Carson and this is Watson. We are brothers. I am two years older than he is. We had the same parents but when we each shifted, we got kicked of the clan they refused us since we were not part of their clan.”

        “Which clan were you by?” David asked.

        “The Whitemoon clan.” Carson said.

        “Whitemoon? No one ever said our people were hidden by the Whitemoon clan.”

        “Hidden? What do you mean by hidden?” Watson asked.

        “First of all, come into the territory so you can be safe.” David said. “Now the vampires attacked and killed most of the Purplemoon clan members, but they managed to hide the children by different clans in homes of the humans.”

        “We were raised in the clan. Our parents belong to the Whitemoon clan but as soon as we shifted, they said that we were not Whitemoon clan wolves. They said we had purple moons on our foreheads.” Carson said.

        “That makes this even more interesting. I guess I will need to talk to all the clan leaders now instead of just a few clan members. I have heard of this happening. When one clan gets to be small, they have children born to the other clans to rebuild up their clan. Even though no one forces it. We believe that it is the Moon Goddesses doing. Angel, she is giving you more members for your clan.” David said.

        “Well then we have more work to do. Let’s go finish dinner and get these two some food.” I said.

        “I agree.” David said.

        With that we all walked back to the clan. There were already two new seats with plates of food at one of the tables for our two newest people. Once David introduced them everyone sat back down and enjoyed their dinner. Once everyone was done David was the first one to speak.

        “I do believe it is time to see Angel’s and Sapphire’s wolves and then do our typical training battles. Work on training the new wolves. What do you all think?”

        Everyone all cheered and said yes at the same time. So, with that Sapphire and I walked into the open field and shifted into our wolf forms. It went to complete silence while everyone took in our wolf forms. Mine was purple with blue flames down the sides and now had the Blackstar clan symbol on my forehead. Sapphire’s was blue with purple flames and had the Purplemoon clan symbol on her forehead.

*Stars POV*

        “Wow! They are unique.”

        “They are beautiful.”

        “I have never seen something so wonderful before.”

        “I will keep your secret.”

        “So will I.” Everyone else chimed in.

        After that David, Robert, Ryan, and Aiden shifted into their wolf forms and joined us to show everyone the size difference. They were all full-grown wolves and were about three fourth our size. All their wolves were brown, but their eyes were all different. David’s were a deep blue while Aiden’s where a baby blue. Robert’s eyes were green like the grass and Ryan’s eyes were brown.

        “They are taller than most wolves.”

        “How do the other Purplemoon clan members look then?” someone asked.

        At that question, the other Purplemoon clan members shifted. They also had a purple moon on their foreheads. They came over to us, but they were still three fourths our size.

        I suddenly had something telling me to touch foreheads with my mate, so I did and when I did his wolf grew to the same size as me. On top of his size changing he also now has the black star on his head with the purple moon inside it. He also has hints of my purple hair in his. It was then that my dad stepped forward before speaking.

        “He is her true alpha and rightful alpha of the Purplemoon clan. He will now forever be the same size as his mate. See how they now both have the star and moon on their heads now? Also, with her doing that she now has brown fur mixed in with her purple just as he has purple fur mixed into his. So, who is up for helping Angel and Sapphire with their dose of wolf training?”

        It made me wonder if the human forms changed slightly too.

        After he said that quite a few clan members shifted. The ones who did not shift started cleaning up from dinner. Instead of going with the wolves to the training area I walked towards the tables and started helping clean up what I could in wolf form. When the others saw me, they joined up to help. Soon enough dinner was cleaned up and then everyone got to go to the training area together.

        We all took turns training with each other. The only ones who would not train with us were our mates. They did not want to accidentally hurt us.

        When I was on the side lines watching Sapphire battle with David, I smelled something strange but familiar at the same time. I started to follow the smell when I noticed people standing outside the barrier, so I hid and listened to them talk. I could tell from the smell they were werewolves I just could not tell what clan they were from. They smelled like Purplemoon clan members but there was something else there too.

        “Why did that witch send us here? We cannot get in.”

        “What I want to know is why she tried to hide our smell. It is as if she does not like the smell of werewolves anymore.”

        “Maybe we should head back.”

        “Why? They did not want us there. She has been hiding me for five years and you for two. She never once tried to mask our smell until Thursday and she never once tried to send us away. Something has changed, I just wish I knew what it was.”

        I did not wait for a response I walked out of my hiding spot and up to them. I even crossed the barrier to be on the outside with them. I sat down and let them touch me. I could tell they got all their answers from me by the looks on their faces.

        “So, you are the reason we were sent here, the reason why everything changed.”

        “She is our luna. We did not belong to the Redmoon clan.”

        I walked back into the barrier and waited for them to follow.

        “We cannot get in there. We tried a few times already.”

        ‘Follow me.’ I said in a mind link with them.

        “We will try again,” they both said.

        With that they walked in through the barrier. I proceeded to lead the way to the training grounds. I was greeted back by my mate.

        “Alpha,” they both said and bowed to him.

        ‘I take it you found more members from a different clan my love.’

        ‘Yes, I did, and they could not get in until I had them follow me through. We need to see if dad will change the barrier to let in all Purplemoon clan members. I have a feeling we will be getting more before the night is over.’

        ‘Okay, shall we go talk to him? Sapphire took him down. It was funny to watch. I do not know if he allowed her to or not though.’

        ‘Okay, can we get them some food first? I am fairly sure they have been walking here since Thursday.’

        “Angel. I will get them some dinner and show them to a room where they can shower. Your mother and I followed you. When you left your hiding spot, we knew to come back and prepare things for them.” Scarlet said.

        “We will also find them some clean clothes to wear,” Velvet added.

        ‘Thank you,’ I said through our mind link.

        “You are welcome. Gentlemen if would follow me.” Scarlet said.

        With that she took the guys and then we went to find David.

        ‘Hey dad we got something to talk to you about.’

        ‘What is it?’ David asked.

        ‘Well, Star do you want to tell him?’

        ‘Sure. So, dad I just found another two Purplemoon clan members trying to get in, but they could not. They were from another clan that no one was left around. I have a feeling we will be getting more from other clans.’

        ‘Say no more. I will fix the barrier to let in all Purplemoon clan members as well as Blackstar members. I will just need your blood for it. Shall we go change and met in my office?’

        ‘We shall.’ Aiden and I said together.
