Artemis Jones was thought to be nothing but a low life miscreant. With her family gone and only "living" adult relative being her sister is in coma.

She was place into the system, forced to live with an abusive drunk. It wasnt until one night she had enough and ran away.

Living on the street wasn't easy, but some how the black and white world she hated so much took pity on her. An old lady by the Name Lee Une caught the girl pilfering food from her restaurant kitchen. As punishment the girl was forced to work until she paid back her debt. In return she would be given housing and food.

But that one kind gesture wasn't enough to keep Artemis from slowly hiding her self from the world. Growing into numb and reclusive person can bring some unwanted attention, but she tries to keep her distance from people as much as she can.

So when an uptown LA girl finds her self falling for the brooding mysterious women; Artemis feels reluctant about pushing her away. What future is to come for these complete opposites?
