It was finally the weekend again, one that had thankfully not been disrupted by Giovanni's presence, which made me assume that he was finally out of the country.
Thank goddess.
Now, I could go back to my normal routine and take Liam anywhere I wanted without fear of him being seen by his uncle.
And to celebrate that, myself and Valerie planned a little weekend fun outing. It wasn't something much, but I planned a picnic with food, drinks and our favorite snack at a small water fountain at the center of town.
Liam loved the idea, and he was excited for his play date with other kids. I felt free, anything and everything concerning my past was finally gone and I could finally go back to my regular life.
