We were in the middle of our tea when suddenly, a loud, arrogant voice resounded outside the door of our private room.
“If you won’t tell me, I’ll search every private room myself!”
“Ma’am, you can’t do that. If you want to know something, call him—but don’t disturb the other guests!” The man's voice sounded flustered.
“And if I do? I’m Alpha Ethan’s woman—and will soon become Luna. Do you think anyone here would dare cross him?” The woman’s tone was calm, but still reeked of arrogance.
Chris and I stared at each other for a few seconds, trying to understand what was happening.
