Hailey turned on every lamp on her way from the bedroom to the balcony. She had searched for Sebastian everywhere and had not found him. “Get down and let’s get going!” she heard a familiar voice exclaimed. Looking down, she caught Sebastian grinning at her in his white cabriolet Lamborghini. His smile was too contagious and she found herself smiling back at him. She rushed down the stairs and walked quickly to the car.
“I never knew we had this car” Hailey tapped a long, perfectly polished fingernail along the armrest.
As he turned on the engine and started driving, Sebastian shrugged “We’ve got a garage at the back of the house, I think you never went there.”
“So, you’ve got more cars, I never knew you had” Hailey pointed out in a lame attempt to keep the conversation going.
