Hailey reluctantly peered her eyes open and yawned, stretching both arms. Beside her Luidji mewled and jumped off the bed. She had found Luidji roaming aimlessly, once on a trip at her mother’s place back in Spain, three months ago. They had bounded easily, finding in each other some kind of weird yet, soothing comfort. Luidji being a lost newly born malnourished kitten and her, a lost soul, hardly living almost just existing after Sebastian’s departure.
