Chapter 13“What the hell am I doing?” Nick crouched on all fours, unable to stand upright in the tight quarters. Two possible directions beckoned. Which way should he go? A flip of an imaginary coin and he crawled to the left. He lifted his knees over the tangle of plastic sheeting and broken timbers. Please let him be headed in the right direction. Bobby had pointed out his best estimate of John and Dean’s location on a set of blueprints. Too bad the cramped passageway didn’t come close to the pristine map, all straight lines and sharp angles on paper. Nick blinked, his eyes watering from the irritants he couldn’t avoid.
