Sylvie woke up late that afternoon, trudging slowly down the stairs, and was groggy and sore. She checked the damage from yesterday in the mirror, noting that the Arnica had done its job and the swelling was all but gone. Her cheek and eye still held some purple color, and a small gash had scabbed over it. Her arm, which sustained the most damage, was still tender to the touch, but the medicinal herbs and fresh bandages were healing the wound nicely even after a day.
