1. Late for the meeting
Samaira's P.O.V.
"Hey bhagwan (oh god)!!! what should I do of this girl... Sam, wake up! unless you want to be late" said my mom.
yes she shout like this whenever I don't listen to her..
"SAM are you waking up or shall I help you with the bucket of cold water”
Oh no, I don't wanna wake up I thought while covering my face with the quilt, the sun was shining bright through the window of my room...
"SAMAIRA KAPOOR "mom shouted
and I heard her foot steps pacing towards my room and hearing my mom's shoting, I hurried myself up from the bed, and ran towards the bathroom.
I did my morning routine, after taking the bath I took my clothes from my closet ...I wore a pair of blue jeans with the peach ruffle blouse and nude heels. I did minimal make up, leaving my long hair open and wear my favourite pearl earrings.
Completing my look I took my sling bag from the table and hurried myself downstairs only to find my mom's glaring at me and I know what that means ... I look everywhere and find my dad on the dining table having his breakfast I went to my dad so that he can save me from mom
"Hey Dad, Good morning" I wished him.
"Good morning Princess" my dad said.
"Dad your Princess is in trouble, please help" I pleaded
'what happened" he asked.
I look up to mom and dad said "Oh! so this happened"
I nod my head in agreement.
"You Go I Will handle the situation here" dad said.
"eeee.. you are the best Dad " I said hugging him and grab a toast from the table and ran towards my car munching the toast, I opened my car's door settle in the driver's seat starting the car I left for my destination....
"Oh! GOD" ...this traffic is so damn bad and I'm getting late , if I didn't get their in time I don't know what that tyrant will do to me ...
oh no! I can't stay here anymore , I roll down the glass of my car and asked some one "what happened that caused this" (traffic)
"their is an old women who fainted after a car hit her and ran away" ,he said.
"WHAT!!" Samaira got down from her car ran towards the spot where the old lady was lying unconscious. she saw that everybody was just watching and noone is helping the old women. she hurried her and shout the people "how irresponsible is your behaviour this old lady is here lying unconscious and you guys are just watching her can't you just help me and carry her to my car" she said. One man step forward and help cemara in carrying that only towards her car. In no time traffic was clear and Samaria rushed towards the City hospital bringing that old lady to the ER....
"Doctor...she was hit by the car and she was lying unconscious... on the road when I found her, please check her " I said to the doctor.
"yes, miss while I check this lady you can wait outside" doctor said
I went outside and sat on the bench ...just then my eyes fall on the wall clock ...I gulped down thinking "I Am SO DEAD ” It's already 12:00pm, but what can I do their was so much traffic on the way , and an old lady who was unconscious before me how can I leave her like that , by her face she almost looks like my granny's age , now how can I leave her like that. I thought
"it's okay, SAM you did the right thing" I told myself.but you are late for the meeting my inner voice said to me..
Just then the doctor came outside the ward, I got up from the bench and went near him and asked " How is she doctor" "is she fine" , "will she be alright” I showered my questions to the doctor.
"Easy miss, she has a fracture in her right leg and their some stitches needed on her head, which we did, other than that see is fine."
I took a sigh of relief hearing that the granny is fine.
"Now miss, may I ask your name, and how you met her?" doctor asked.
I looked at the doctor, and his eyes are showing concern, confusion, and some what anger, Just like some I know. The doctor resembles The tyrant.
"excuse me, miss" doctor said.
"oh sorry for zoning out, hi my name is Samaira Kapoor " I said look at the doctor.
"and how do you met her" he asked.
"I was stuck in traffic and was getting late for the meeting so I asked someone what is happening and why is there so much traffic , then he told me about the car hit an old lady and ran away I got furious listening to this , and ran towards where Granny was lying unconscious , with the help of a man I laid her in my car and drove here as fast as I can" I told all that happened to him.
"you are so nice to help a total stranger" he said
"oh come on doc, she is almost as old as my or your granny , How can I not help her ... well I'm suppose to be some where now, please call me when she wakes up" I told the doctor giving my business card
"thanks doc" saying that I leave the hospital. And went straight to 'RR inc.'
