BEFORE LOVE

EPISODE 10

Sophie and I have been getting along very well, we spend most of our break time together, she's really fun to be with unlike her brother, I just love the little girl she's so pretty and smart.

I want to take you to some where very special, it's our private garden, no one else has been there except my brother and I, no one knows such exists in this school because it's where we go when ever we want our privacy though big brother now have an office which belonged to dad when he was still alive she said. I feel very sorry for the family, the death of Mr Brown must have cost them a lot, I can remember how sad Xavier was when I mentioned his dad, sophy it's okay right, you don't have to feel sad okay or do you want me to cry I asked faking my voice but am glad it worked. Wow it's this real or am I just dreaming, so this place exists in this school yet no one knows about it, it's really beautiful here, there's even a water fall in the centre of the garden, this is just the best thing I have ever seen with my eyes. It's beautiful I said, I told ya she replied, but why would you bring me of all people to this place I asked after we settled down, cos I like you, you changed my mind set about my self because of the rejection I face from people I thought I was a bad person and you shower me with love just like an older sister would love her younger one she said. This little girl is making me feel sobber what have I done to deserve so much love from her, I hugged her so passionately, I let few drops of tears out of my eyes.

I made some cookies this morning and I decided to bring some for my baby I said bringing out the cookies from my back pack, Yeh cookies that's one of my favourite snacks she said jumping, I actually love to see her in this happy state, but you can make cookies she asked, yes do you wanna learn, I asked and she was over joyed, yes yes she replied, okay eat up I will arrange a practical class for you at my house I said, is it starting today, I can't wait she asked still happy, I will let you know when I said.

Yes I actually told her everything, that am poor, how I got to this school, how I dance in a bar just to provide money for food and mum's herbs, I don't see anything wrong with telling her all that I mean some one who likes you would still like you despite your poverty status right some times we do dance rehearsal, we read and do lots of other things together. She took a bite and chewed it softly, do you like it I asked and she nod her head positively, she took a piece and brought it close to my mouth but when I opened up to collect it she put it in her mouth instead, I wanted to attack her but she ran away. Oh no tell me am dreaming Xavier is here hope he won't be mad at me, at least I have the opportunity to thank him for yesterday, Sophie is sitting down too she seems to be less happy now. Thanks for yesterday I said plainly, I really appreciate it I added but he remained silent, some times I wish you could smile, yes although your face is masked I can still feel those pains and sadness in your face, I wish you could share it with someone, I further explained but he did not say a word, am sorry I gave your sister cookies to eat with out your permission, please punish me instead.

She's just so kind and self less despite how much pain she's going through, she still manages to keep those around her happy, just the perfect lady for me. My little sister has grown really fund of her, there's never a time we're having family discussions that she fails to mention her name thousand times, mum can't wait to see her.

Our English teacher isn't around, she requested a day off to mourn her grand ma, hey what do you wanna do with this free time I asked Nelly, nothing much just gonna read my books she replied, can we read together I asked, no thank you she replied, why I wanted to ask but that Derrick guy showed up. Hi he greeted, hey Derrick how are you, why weren't you in school yesterday she asked cheerfully, oh that, mum was down with fever he replied, I really missed you, this class was so boring, she complained, sorry about that he said. Jeez can't imagine she totally forgot me, just love the way their communication is going unlike me she can't even look me in the face, she's so free with him, I bought you chocolate Derrick said, that sounds interesting she replied, he brought out the chocolate from his pocket and gave to her, she took it from him kept in her back pack. U hmm.., my seat partner isn't around, do you mind coming over Derrick asked and she accepted, like seriously, she wants to leave me to go seat with this poor thing, they both walked to his seat while I stood up and left the classroom with anger.

Woooo mum cheered Sophie when she was done dancing, she've really learnt a lot, most of her dance steps are just the same with that of Nelly. I told ya am a great dancer now, school mummy even does better than my self, really can't wait to see this angel that's making my princess so happy, mum said, yeah mum and am sure you will like her at first sight, Sophie added, what's her name again mum asked, she's Nelly Sophie answered, son you aren't saying nothing mum asked, just then the image of Nelly and Derrick displayed in my head, I left the sitting room to my room, if I sit there hearing them mention her name, I might get too emotional.

I sat on my bed, I just need to forget what happened today, hey son you know you could tell me anything right, oh mum never knew she followed me inn, it's nothing I replied, are you going to lie to me now she said feigning annoyance.

Mum is always going to be mum, she's never going to let go until I tell her the truth, mum I love her I spilled out, you love who, she asked, Nelly mum I seriously do love her. Have you told her about it, she asked, no, I replied, why, she asked, she seems to be in a relationship already I said, did she tell you that, look my boy from what I have heard of this lady you need to speak up before some one else win her, mum advised, but she don't even want to talk to me, she hate me a lot mum I said, just try Okay, mum advised.
