COUNCIL MEMBER STARK.
There was definitely something odd going on in this pack. I could smell the Alpha’s scent all over the dead prisoner. I didn’t believe for a moment that he had killed himself. Plus, Alpha James Cooper was hiding something. He had lied when I had noticed his hand shaking. I had a suspicion that he had been behind this man’s death. I just didn’t understand why. Could he be the inside man? Had he for some reason given the hunters access to the pack? It would explain why he had killed the prisoner so as to stop him from outing him. However, surely if that was the case, then wouldn’t he have let him get away rather than capturing him. Unless he had no choice. He definitely didn’t seem happy about his son’s mate. I would need to get to the bottom of all this.
