I had felt like my heart had ripped from my chest ever since Charles had given me the terrible news. Holly was dead. She was gone, and I couldn’t even give her a proper goodbye. A hunter is burnt on a funeral pyre. That way, they don’t usually end up stuck here as a spirit. Of course, there have been odd cases where a hunter’s ghost has managed to hold on.
