Chapter 18 In their tiny dormitory room, Xavier picked up his duffel bag by the bed and moved it to the corner of the room instead. But a few seconds later, he grabbed the bag again and moved it back to where he’d first set it down. Anxiously, he patted the bag, touching his belongings to feel secure, but his heart was pounding hard, and he knew he was close to unraveling. It was the nerves, that was all it was.
