Chapter 2I left the classroom and pulled out my phone. I had to tell my best friend Kat about Eduardo, my new crush. There weren’t many men I crushed on these days. I had been single for so long, I usually didn’t put much energy into meeting guys.
Something was different about meeting Eduardo, though. I was buzzing with excitement. His presence next to me in class was so distracting and all-consuming. I obviously had the hots for him, but it wasn’t just physical attraction. I wanted to talk to him and ask him questions and get to know him. I wanted to make him smile and laugh and look at me with his gorgeous brown eyes.
