The following week was very confusing for Maya’s friends. She was acting as if nothing had happened. She acted extra cheerful and would roll her eyes whenever her friends tried to ask if she was okay or tried to discuss what had happened that night. She was even acting as if she had not told Josephine everything. She was brushing everything under the rug and Damon knew this would not lead to anything good. She was just a ticking bomb, and he knew the next breakdown would be several times worse than the previous one.
