Desirable

Jay's ears continued to ring softly, as the fog lifted from her head.  How did that happen? Her mind reached out to her only friend. That smell, the safety... Scarlet's voice was longing, and Jay suddenly felt the hunger within her again. That desire to be as close to that scent as possible.  How did a smell do that to us? Lettie, what's going on? Her words laced in anger, it was irresponsible of them. It's ours, Jay, we have to claim what's ours! Scarlet's tone was hungry and edgy as Jay became more aware of her surroundings. She remained still, as her nostrils filled with that scent once more, warm maple and oak. The caves she used to hide in as a child coming to her memory. The calm that smell brought with it, the comfort it naturally held. She realized then what was happening, and she tried to deny it. She was a loan wolf, a huntress in the purest sense. She couldn't be subdued by a smell, or bewitched by some trick.  Her eyes began to open, even though they fought with her to move. She acknowledged the sound of a seat creaking beside her. A form was there, coming into focus slowly as her eyes began to clear. The pain in her head slowly fading away from her. The man stood over her, his hair was dark brown, nearly raven colored. The lighting in the room showing the brown highlights that lingered amidst the dark locks. His hair was relatively short, coming to just above the ear and fading down to a short buzz on the sides. His ice blue eyes and high cheek bones gave his face the sharp features of a two edged sword. His jawline strong and bringing the cheek bones to a beautiful juncture. Jay took in the sight of his lips, nearly kissable, with a plumpness to them that called out to her. His long lashes moved as he blinked, considering the woman before him. His broad shoulders moved as he took in a deep breath. His nostrils flared as they filled with Jay's scent. His muscular arms shown through the loose t-shirt he wore. The faint outline of his pecks could be seen as his lungs filled with air. His long fingers came slowly and wrapped about Jay's right hand. His tan skin appearing pale in comparison to the sun kissed woman before him. Jay moved to lift from the bed as his hand touched hers. "No," he said it calmly, "stay put. You hit your head hard." Jay's eyes met his and it took everything within her to hold herself back from him. What is coming over me? The door to her room swung open widely, the man from the clearing rushing in. Suddenly and with great force, Jay pushed herself into the air from her bed. Her IV pulled from her hand and the bed she was in slammed into the wall opposite the door. Her feet landed firmly on the ground and her eyes narrowed, growling heavily at the man who entered the room. The gown they had put on her naked form, fell to the ground and the man at the door froze. A challenge of authority was bristling in the air and he growled back at the girl. Jay set her jaw and growled back, her blood boiled and her eyes flashing hints of dark purple swirls as she released a growl that came up from the depths of her soul. She would not be taken in by this threat. The sound of blood dripping from her left hand could be heard faintly. "Eli!" the man from her bedside spoke up, "Out!" "Alpha?" He growled out, his eyes not leaving the woman that stood between him and his leader. "OUT!" The alpha roar that came from him sent the man out the door quickly. Jay's breathing slowed, her eyes scanned the room. She tried to recall how she got out of her bed, how she moved to where she was. Running it through her head, she turned to see her body shielding the man that once stood at her bedside. She met his blue eyes and a peace washed over her. How had this man enthralled her so easily. He smiled softly and moved to put a hand on Jay's shoulder, she flinched away and he froze. She waited patiently, trying to discern his motives. Several moments passed by, neither moving. The man's hand hovered in the air, waiting for the approval to touch this amazing wolf that stood before him. His eyes didn't wander over her body, they held her gaze. She met his gaze openly, not backing down. Jay's mind began to think about what his touch would feel like, thoughts began to enter her mind of his hands roaming her body and Scarlet began to prance around in her mind. It was obvious that Scarlet liked this male. Jay's head nodded once, slightly, but the male didn't miss it. His hand touched her shoulder and Jay felt comfort she couldn't explain.  Her walls dropped fast and she buried herself in his chest. The man was surprised by the reaction but embraced her with welcome arms. Jay's nostrils filled with his scent, that comfort covering her body and washing over her like warm honey. She could hear the male taking in her scent, his breathing slowing and his heart beat calming down. "Why do you smell like that?" Jay's voice spoke out quietly from her place against his chest. She was shorter then this man, not by a lot but enough to fit perfectly beneath his shoulders. Her ear could rest comfortably against his beating heart and his head could rest easily upon hers.  "Like what?" He spoke so softly and his deep voice was a comfort to the young woman, reminding her of the comfort that thunder carried with it. "Like warm maple and oak trees." She took another deep breath in through her nose and felt her shoulders relax. "Can't say I've ever been told I smell like that." Jay could feel him smile as his shoulders relaxed as well. "What is your name?" Jay couldn't stop herself from responding if she wanted to. "Jay." She wrapped her arms tighter around the torso of her comforter. "You are?"  "Henri." He chuckled, feeling the pressure she applied and returning it equally. "Why do I feel like this?" Jay needed answers and it was starting to scare her, a feeling she had not felt in a long time. She could face down a vampire, cast down a warlock and exile a witch, but the emotions that were rising up in her were not familiar. She felt the man in her arms sigh as he started to release his hold. Jay held on tighter then ever and he chuckled softly. "Jay, you have to let go of me." Henri looked down to the woman, the fierce warrior that took a stand to protect at a moments notice that was now to scared to let him go. He leaned his head down and whispered into her ear, his warm breath against her lobe, "I'm not leaving you." His deep voice resonated into her soul and she reluctantly pulled her arms back to herself.  Jay felt empty the instant she let him go, like something that made her whole was missing. Tears brimmed in her eyes and she took a soft step back, her head was bowed and she didn't make eye contact. Why did he let go? Did I do something wrong? Jay reached out to Scarlet with a desire in her tone. It'd been so long since being around others like her, she worried she did something inappropriate. No, my star. Scarlet's reply was all that Jay needed. She glanced through her lashes at the man, his features were magnificent and he was gorgeous. The pained look in his eyes showed, it hurt him more then it did Jay to let her go. Henri grumbled under his breath. His arms twitched as he fought the urge to take her in his arms. "Eli!" Henri called out suddenly, causing Jay to flinch. She hadn't flinched in years, How does he have such power over us? "Yes sir?" Eli called out from the hall, opening the door only a c***k. "Can you get Jay some clothes please." "Alpha?" "Eli, I'm not leaving this room without her." Henri's eyes set on the face of the one he could never be without, "She needs clothes." "Yes, Alpha." Eli grumbled, tones of his discomfort in the idea apparent. Jay stood in her position, her brow furrowed and her shoulder hunched slightly. Her eyes were on the floor and her head was turned away from him.  "Jay, please don't." His hand touched her shoulder and he watched a tear drop from her face. He sighed and pulled her back to him, his arms taking her in a tight embrace. Jay's arms came around him and hugged him tight, peace washing over her. "Don't submit to me, precious one." He kissed the top of her head. "I can't help it." Jay spoke out, fighting tears and gripping tightly to her new found grounding rod. The one that brought morales back into her heart. "I don't know what's going on with me." Jay lifted her chin to look up to the man, her head still on his chest. His eyes met hers and he nodded. The door opened and Eli walked in, Jay growled at him, her eyes digging into him. Eli froze in his tracks, you could see realization wash across his face. "Of course." He half chuckled, shaking his head. The folded clothes in his arms and a pair of sneakers in his hand. "I'm not taking him from you." He said bluntly, "Clothes." He lifted his bundle up and then set it on the chair. He nodded to Henri and then turned from the room, closing the door behind him. Jay's arms still wrapped firmly about his torso, as she adjusted her head to go back to his chest. "Let's get you dressed." He said softly and he released his tight hold on her. Jay took one more deep breath of his scent, as she released him and turned to the clothes that had been brought in. Henri's eyes moved across her body for the first time. Her shoulders had the soft round curve to them, but the muscle tone on her back showed how often she ran in wolf form. His eyes moved down her body, looking at the small birthmark on the back of her right upper arm. His eyes moved down her curves, noticing the deep hourglass figure she held. His fingers twitched as he wanted to touch her and run his fingers down her body. She lifted the bundle of clothes and turned around, her eyes met the hungry eyes of the only being she trusted. She knew that look, and normally she would have taken his throat in her hands within a moment, but instead she stopped. Considering the situation, she calculated her options. She liked his gaze on her body, she liked how he considered her, she liked his approval. She knelt down, setting the clothes on the floor at her feet. She rose to her full height and stood still, allowing his eyes to wash over her. Jay's eyes moved to Henri's hands, watching them flex and relax as he held himself back. She tilted her head slightly and her brow twitched as she tried to figure out what was going through his mind. She'd never had interest in intimacy with anyone, the thought actually was disgusting when she considered it, but in this moment it sounded like the most delicious thing ever. Jay licked her lips and softened her eyes, she took one slow step back toward the tall man. "You should really get dressed, Jay." His voice was soft and airy, like he struggled to engage his voice when he spoke. Jay stopped just inches from Henri, her eyes on his as she listened to his heart race and watched his pupils increase in size. He liked what he saw and she knew it, she liked that he liked it. She liked his gaze upon her body. She stood there, waiting for him to do something. His breath was ragged and his self control was leaving him in short waves. "Jay," Henri brought his head close to hers, whispering slowly, "I want you," his arms coming to rest upon her hips, "but not here. Please get dressed." Jay looked him in the eyes and whispered softly, "Kiss me." She'd never been kissed, she hadn't wanted it before now. This man had bewitched her and she was loving it. She had just gotten the words from her mouth when his lips met hers. The warmth of his lips tasted like he smelled, the warm maple washed over her body and she filled her senses with his smell. His tongue moved across her lips and welcomed it eagerly. The taste of him was more then she could handle. Her arms came up around his neck and she felt his arms move around her waist. The kiss passionate, eager and hungry. They both wanted each other, but Henri was holding back. He pulled back, taking deep breaths of her scent. "Please, precious one," Henri pleaded with her, "not here." Jay pulled back, the smell of her s*x coming up to fill Henri's nostrils. His light blue eyes went dark as he realized the state of the woman before him. His fingers grasped tightly onto Jay's flesh and a soft moan escaped her lips. Henri moved his left hand up to her neck and pulled her in close. His mouth crashed against hers and their tongues danced. Henri's hand moved slowly from her neck, and Jay didn't stop him. She hungered for his touch, his hands on her body. Henri took her right breast in his hand and massaged gently, a moan escaping her throat as the pleasure of his touch washed over her. She was hungry and wanted more, she was needy. She rubbed her thighs together, trying to relieve some of the pressure that was building in her groin. Henri didn't miss the motion of her body, he pulled her tight to him and grabbed firmly to her plump ass. She felt his hard predicament press against her core, the fabric of his jeans blocking her. She moved her hands to his waist line and he took them away. Jay whimpered as she looked at his eyes. "Jay, I want to give you every ounce of pleasure." Henri voice was ragged and his breath was heavy, "Please not here." Jay took in his words, he was pleading with her and she knew she was stronger then this urge. She took a deep breath and rested her forehead against his chest. She nodded slowly and took another deep breath, trying with all her strength to calm the urge that was rising within her. Henri reached out and grabbed a tissue from a nearby stand. "You'll want to clean up." He whispered in her ear as he placed the tissue in her hands. Jay lifted her head and took the tissue from him. To torment him, intentionally, she took the tissue and wiped her womanhood, taking up all the fluids her body had produced for him. Then with a smirk she placed it in his hand, raised an eye brow and turned away. The groan that left his throat would have soaked her all over again, if she hadn't already set herself on getting dressed. She made a note, he was weaker then she was, he couldn't shut off the urge as easily as she could.  She slid the shirt over her head, taking note of the long sleeves and burgundy color. She turned to glance at Henri, who shot her a grin as he walked back from the bathroom. She pulled the black pants on, they were a stiff material with an elastic waistband, that's when she realized they were scrubs. She pulled on the socks and sneakers quickly, just as Henri came alongside her. He held out his hand and she happily took it in hers. Henri interlaced her hand in his and walked her toward the door of the hospital room. "Jay, what do you know about Mates?" Jay held his hand as he walked her out of the hospital room and into the hallway. Before she could answer, her eyes saw Eli once again. Her grip on Henri tightened and she heard him chuckle beside her. Her head turned toward him and took in his smile, her features softened and tried her best to follow his lead. This was why she didn't like being around others, but this man was different. Henri shook his head slowly and smiled, Jay nodded and huffed slowly as they walked the hallway. Eli came in alongside them, walking to Henri's left. "Now that we can move forward," he said, keeping his eyes to himself, "there was another push in from the East." He handed Henri a piece of paper, that was glanced over and handed back. Henri sighed audibly as they moved through the hospital. It wasn't large, but the smells of bleach and other chemicals filled Jay's nostrils. She wanted nothing more then to be in the fresh air again. They rounded a corner and were greeted by large glass doors. As they exited the building a man stood up from his position on a concrete bench outside of the building. His black hair was cut extremely short, his thick hair wanting to curl tightly. His smooth chocolate complexion gave his green eyes a sharpness to them. Jay watched as his lips spread into a broad smile, his eyes taking in the trio as they exited the facility. The obvious familiar faces caused his eyes to light up, dimples becoming present on his cheeks. His broad build gave Jay the impression that he was a fighter. His stance was wide and firm, as he didn't move to greet them but waited for them to reach him. His hands were clasped in front of him, holding a small pack in them that Jay knew very well to be her own. His clothes sat snug on his body, leaving little to the imagination. Jay made note of his height, being half a head taller then her Henri, giving the man an imposing, almost giant, presence. Your Henri? Scarlet spoke out, her silence broken with a girlish giggle. Jay shook her head, clearing her thoughts and she eyed the man before them. They reached him quickly and the three men exchanged statements. "This is..." Henri was introducing Jay, when he noticed her attention elsewhere. "Jay?" Jay's eyes were off to her right, the scent that filled her nostrils was acidic in nature. The pungent odor made her nose burn and her stomach turn, she turned and saw the men beside her unaffected. Jay's expression turned to a sneer, "How long have you had a warlock on your grounds?"
