"Karen," a soft voice called gently.
Karen gave a low groan, then slowly opened her eyes.
The image before her was a blur, and almost seemed unreal.
"Mother?" She whispered.
The image got a little bit clear and Athena's face came into view.
"Karen," she called again with a smile.
Karen blinked slowly as she tried to focus her eyes on her mother's image.
The sun's rays shining behind Athena made it difficult for Karen's eyes to focus on her image.
Karen blinked again, and the image suddenly started to fade.
"Mother..." Her voice was still low and the smile on Athena's face was still present as she kept fading, then faded completely.
