As we neared our destination, I was woken up by a hand touching my arm. I nearly jumped out of my skin, as I went to swing, it came back to me where I was, and I quickly dropped my arms. Hoping Lilly did not see how close I almost came to punching her. Lucky for me, her full attention was out the window on the small town we were driving through. “We're almost there!” Lily exclaimed. “Look at that one in the window, it is beautiful, don't you think?” She all but shouted as she turned to face me, waiting for my reply.
I looked up to see a white off-the-shoulder dress with a lace overlay. It was stunning. “It is beautiful,” I smile, “you will look like a queen in something like that.” If she finds one this fast, it will be a short outing, I thought. Stone will surely appreciate that.
