BY NIGHTFALL, THINGS were not so bad. Snippet actually made them a shelter beneath a tree where the cold was blocked by the rat’s fur. Everyone was clean. Everyone was fed. Everyone slept comfortably. If all were to keep going so well, then the remainder of the journey didn’t seem so bad to Nahtaia.
Two mornings after, as soon as everyone was up, they were on their way toward Gaia Faults. Hopes and moods were high and smiles were in abundance.
