Welcoming ceremony

Riley was shocked to hear the news. She didn't expect such a big change at the company, and it came on her first day. She felt a pang of unease, wondering how the change would affect her. "A takeover? A change of boss?" There was a hint of surprise and doubt in the female colleague's voice. "Will our work be affected?" The male colleague shrugged his shoulders and said he was not sure: "I don't know the details yet, but I heard that the new boss is a very resourceful person and may bring some new changes." Riley listened to their conversation and began to do some thinking. She just got off to an awkward start with Ethan, and now the company is facing... Big change. She's not sure she should be here. She needs more information before she can make a decision. She decided not to jump to conclusions but to continue to watch the situation unfold. She turns to her computer and starts working on the task at hand, keeping an eye out for the reactions of her colleagues and the mood of the office. As time went on, Riley found that while his colleagues were surprised by the news of the acquisition, most remained calm and continued to focus on their work. She realized that no matter how the company changed, she needed to stay professional and do her job. The changes after the acquisition of the company are gradually showing. The new boss brought in some new management ideas and work processes, and although everyone was a little uncomfortable at first, as time went on, everyone began to accept and adapt to these changes. Riley realized that no matter how the environment changed, she needed to keep a positive attitude and keep learning and adapting. She began to look forward to finding her place in the new company culture and believed she could grow and improve in the process. As time went on, it was as if nothing had happened. The company is just like it was before the acquisition, and everyone has put it behind them. Then Ava came over and broke the silence. "Tomorrow, the company will hold a ceremony to welcome the important person. Get ready and try not to be absent." Ava's voice echoed through the office, breaking the silence. There was an unmistakable seriousness in her words that made everyone aware of the importance of the ceremony. When Riley heard the news, she was a little curious. She wants to know who this important person is and what changes his or her arrival will bring to the company. She decided to attend the ceremony on time to see if she could get some clues from it. The next day, the company's lobby was lavishly decorated, with streamers and balloons creating a celebratory atmosphere. Employees gather in twos and threes, whispering about the important people who are about to appear. As Riley stands in the crowd, she notices Ethan nearby, who doesn't seem too interested in the ceremony. They exchanged a look and walked toward each other in unison. "I don't know your name." Ethan asked, "Can I tell you?" "Riley Kennedy." "Did you hear? It is said that this important person is the new CEO of the company." Riley whispers to Ethan. Ethan nodded and didn't say much. As the ceremony began, all the employees fell silent and focused their eyes on the stage. A woman in a fine suit walked onto the stage, her elegant manner and confident smile immediately caught everyone's attention. "Hi, I'm Isabella, Chief Sustainability Officer." Her voice is clear and strong, and her words reveal determination and enthusiasm: "I will be responsible for the company's sustainable development strategy and implementation, including environmental protection, social responsibility and corporate governance..." Isabella began by talking about her vision and plans, emphasizing the importance of innovation, teamwork and continuous development. They were all drowsy and uninterested until Isabella finished her speech. As the ceremony drew to a close, Riley didn't see the new CEO. Sure enough, the rumors were not to be believed. Ethan's brow furrows slightly, and his eyes reveal a hint of doubt: "What's wrong?" His voice was deep and strong, with an authority that could not be ignored. His eyes met Riley's and the corners of his mouth turned up slightly, as if he had anticipated Riley's reaction. Riley responded with a slight shrug, "I thought this was to welcome the new CEO..." When Ethan heard Riley's answer, he was stunned for a moment, and then the corners of his mouth could not help but smile. He shook his head, as if appreciating Riley's sense of humor: "You'd love to meet him?" There was a hint of irony in his voice, clearly amused by Riley's reaction. As Riley looks at Ethan, the mood lightens. Riley smiled and replied, "Sure, I'm looking forward to seeing the new CEO." At some point Isabella walked up from the stage. Eyes fixed on Ethan: "You know each other?" Ethan nodded, not wanting to say much, then turned his head away, an attitude that embarrassed Isabella. Riley poked Ethan with her arm and whispered, "She's the chief sustainability officer. We don't want to offend him." Isabella seemed to hear her and raised her eyebrows. "I have never heard of a CEO of PixelPioneers Gaming who cares about his subordinates and loves to interact. Isn't that right, Mr. Alexander?" Mr. Alexander? Ethan's last name is Alexander?
