The first week of August had arrived, bringing with it the weight of the upcoming school year. In just two weeks, all four of my kids would finally be in the same school, at the same time, which is a blessing. No more running across town, picking one set up here and another there. Everything would be streamlined now—one pickup, one drop-off, one after-school program. Even Marco and his mother, Liza, had to admit that this setup will make life much easier for everyone.
