“Here’s to missile failure!” Smiling, the officers raised their glasses with him. The Pentagon, Washington DCIf Banerjee held good to his threat, then the missiles were scheduled to launch at half past eleven in the morning on east coast time. It was eleven o’clock now, and the fully manned Operations Center was silent as the rows of intelligence officers sat at their computer stations focusing on the job to be done.
