Outskirts of DelhiAfter their failed ambush in the shanty town, both Luke and Kirin knew that Nawani and his minions would become more vigorous in their pursuit. Already, instructions had been sent out to all the hotels and guesthouses in the area to be on special alert for any new arrivals.
In their favour, the reception staff was told to watch out for two people travelling together, probably male. It was unlikely that the reception staff would be particularly sensitive to a man and a woman travelling together looking like a married couple. However, the staff was also told to insist on speaking to all new arrivals. Anyone that could not converse in Hindi or spoke with an unusual accent was to be reported immediately.
