Chapter 6 Memories in Ink With no one else around in the ward, I leaned against the headboard, watching as the sky outside gradually darkened. Finally, I picked up a worn, yellowed diary. The diary showed signs of wear, clearly having been opened many times before. As I flipped it open and began to read the familiar handwriting, tears streamed down my face. The pages were filled with love notes about Harold, but none of them were written by me. [Today was my first day at school, and I met a really handsome guy.
