Chapter 5: The Car The next morning I called my Aunt Cyn, prayed she would answer and of course she didn’t. The woman wasn’t easy to pin down. When she worked, no one knew her schedule. When she was home, she rarely answered her phone. I thought about leaving a message on her voicemail but knew she didn’t know how to check it. I crossed my fingers that I would catch her on my way back from seeing Barrett’s car. Maybe I would have something more to go on and then she would be able to give me a deeper insight into what my next step should be. I dialed Barrett’s cell phone next and wasn’t surprised when I got his voicemail.
