***Hazel’s Continued POV***
Unwilling to leave her with Axel despite it being the original plan that Bane brought up, Grim blatantly demanded Hazel be paired with himself. Repeating the fact that Nite would indeed, have his head on a stake if anything happened to her that he wasn’t there to stop. Hazel wanted to roll her eyes, but even knew his worry had been valid; her mate did not seem the type to be understanding or listen to reason when Hazel was in danger.
Grim made several notes of Nite’s enraged actions and all the smashed furniture just after finding her kidnapped by Dei, which surprised her. Nite had always been both cold and distant more than he’d seemed happy to be near her and Hazel couldn’t wrap her mind around the thought of him actually caring
