***Hazel’s POV***
This didn’t feel right, it felt surreal as Axel suddenly changed course. Hazel could almost feel the fear building somewhere inside her brother as well as Grim’s burst of anger and terror. Why was he now headed back towards the Old Giant? We need to get away, Haze, please! Something isn’t right! Maybe we can draw Axel’s attention? Hazel nodded internally and thrashed about in the arms of her brother, almost breaking free. Axel tossed her small form around in his grasp as if Hazel were a hot potato, while trying to regain his hold on her. His struggle and failure at fully catching her had also resulted in halting his run, and her brother’s wolf growled quickly in a moment of irritation.
