Anything it takes

" Aman, I said MOVE" Abhimanyu roared startling everyone. " N... Oo... I.. Won't... This is..." Before he could even complete what he was about to say, Amal has been pushed away from his seat. We all sat there in silence until Abhimanyu's eyes fell on me. I could hear someone's slow murmuring as he came into my peripheral vision. Abhimanyu and I are famous for our constant bickering so I knew everyone was waiting for a new drama. But today I decided not to pay heed to him. To be honest, I have decided to ignore him for the rest of our college days.   "Aysha, get up... " Wait, he doesn't call me that. And also he sounds different. "Aysha..." I could feel him giving my shoulder a nudge. When I didn't give any reaction, he started shaking me. What the hell..!!!  I tried to pry his hands off, but he seems adamant. " For God sake, it's your engagement day...just get the hell up..." I woke up suddenly to find myself in my bed. I noticed my brother looking at me with an exasperated sigh. Oh...It was a dream...!!! God, I should stop ruminating on my college days. I have been facing difficulty falling asleep at night for few days and it's not good for me.   " I will ask Mala to make coffee. U go get freshen up" My brother said, before dragging me out of bed. I move around to feel awake while he goes out telling me that the make-up artist will be here by 2. Still feeling a little drowsy, I looked into the mirror and could see dark circles under my eyes. No worries...!!! I can hide that with makeup but how can I hide my anxiety regarding my future?   No Aysha. You can do it. You are strong. You can't let this affect you in any way. You are a successful businesswoman and u can't afford any kind of distractions, be it personal or professional. So, should I call him and again try to convince him to back out from this marriage? I can never be sure as I am getting engaged to that same Abhimanyu who I know is still a narcissistic, and emotionally unavailable person.
